Wow! I watch this movie at least once a week! It’s that good of a movie. The picture quality is just jaw dropping! And such a good movie to watch. I highly recommend this!

This was a hard movie to watch because you knew what this crew of men/women had to go threw to survive. Glad to know that those who did not do their jobs were punished in the end.

Excellent movie. Sad greed caused the deaths. Mark Wahlberg outstanding as always! Another one for my collection.

A lesson on how things can go horribly wrong when someone cuts corners at work. In this case it cost lives. If not for the people with better moral fiber this would have been a unwatchable film. The movie was well filmed and decently acted, loads of action and edge of seat intensity!!!

Clearly not a box office blockbuster but a good movie none the less. Tells story of Deepwater Horizon workers leading up to the massive oil spill in the gulf. Can't speak to the accuracy of the movie account of events but it personalizes the experiences of some of those who were there.

This was a great action packed movie that also gave information on a real story and allowed you to know personal things about the real individuals the movie was based off

Great cast giving an honest depiction of a story we all remember watching play out on the evening news. Shows more of a first person impression of events on that fateful day.

I saw this movie when it first came out and it was so good, I knew I had to buy it when it came out on DVD. I purchased it from Best Buy because they had the best price!

I really liked the movie. It has a lot of great action. It also has one of my favorite actors, Mark Walberg. I also liked the thrillness of it. It was so suspensful. Great movie.

Mark Wahlberg stars in this well made movie about a disaster aboard an oil rig. Lots of action and scary to think of the ecological disaster that something like this would cause.

Good movie that is based on the 2010 BP oil spill. I don't know how accurate the story is, but it helps you understand the dangerous situation those workers were involved with.

I like Mark Walberg movies but if you are not a scientist, a little of this movie will go right over your head! Lot of action, good actors but a lot of technical stuff I think I missed so it was confusing at times! I would still recommend it, just pay close attention!

Deepwater Horizon is a surprisingly great movie. The combination of this director, Peter Berg and Mark Wahlberg is exceptional! One of the many great movies to come out of 2016.

It had exciting moments, but at the end, it was empty calories for me. It especially hit home with the list of the men killed in the name of greed. I felt cheated. First, because BP and greed got away with murder, which is still "in" as a rational way of doing government and business in America. But even more, because all these lives lost and, in most cases, in the end, I not only did not know what happened to them, amidst all the special affects, but learned little about who we lost and the holes their loses created for families, friends and communities. I got lots of kabooms instead. And I still am not seeing much reason to get 4K versions instead of BD versions - maybe my eyes and mind are just too old.

The story of one of the worst oil spill in the Gulf. Wahlberg make what could be just another history based films worth the watch It was actually quite well done

Honestly, I can't give this movie a 5 star rating as of yet, because I have not had the time to watch it. So, it gets a 4 star review. I know this film is based off a true story and I've heard it's a tear jerker. However, any film that has Mark Walberg in it is going to be great.

Great performance from the cast! A very suspenseful movie about courage and survival. Beautiful visual effects in 4K. A definite must watch, don’t forget your tissue!
