I watched this 2 or 3 times now absolutely love it. Action packed. Based on true story. Loved it at the end when they showed the real people and family.

Although the setup is too brief in introducing the characters and explaining what exactly caused the worst oil disaster in US history, Deep Water Horizon effectively depicts the account of what happened on that oil rig in a thrilling cinematic experience.

I enjoyed this depiction of an actual event. It showed the "big business" greed that led up to this horrible event. It was somewhat slow at times and had to work hard to stay awake. Good acting with some powerful names, but still left it a little short.

I liked this movie more than I thought I would. I knew the previews looked good but you never know until you see it - well I'm impressed and will watch again.

This is a very good take on the true story of the Deepwater Horizon tragedy in the Gulf of Mexico. It is also well acted and has plenty of action and drama.
