Don't need 6 cameras with in 40ft. Can't get farther than 50ft and not enough signal. What good is it if you have to have direct line of site for every camera and the router at the recorder. Better go hard wire.

I spent 10 hours of my life trying to get this product to work. The network was hard to set up, the wireless cameras would not work more than 75 feet away. If the signal had to go through walls it has problems with less than 25 feet away. The manufacture customer support was a total joke. If you need support while your messing with them just forget it. You have to send an email and they will call you 3 days later. I returned this product. Shocker....the manufacture did not accept my review on their website.

INSTALLED AND HOOKED UP THE SYSTEM. EVERYTHING WORKS GREAT. WE CAN SEE ALL ACTIVITY AROUND THE HOUSE DAY AND NIGHT.

I was looking for an affordable security camera setup to protect the toys in my garage, and the perimeter of my house. Since my garage has power, installing these cameras was pretty easy. The alternative was trenching a wire between my house and garage. Anyone who's done this before knows what a pain that can be, especially with a concrete patio in the way! Once the cameras were plugged in, I found the video quality to be quite good. Not HD but for the price I am very satisfied! I also wanted to be able to see the cameras on my iPhone. Setting this up was a little beyond my abilities, but their tech support sure made it look easy. Now I can see my cameras while at work, and even when I was on vacation last week in another state!

Purchase was a Defender Pro 21313 security system advertised as 750 feet, cameras all transmit in the room where DVR is but when you move them to mount spots some cameras work other do not some work farther away than ones that won't work at half the distance, No information on trouble shooting for cameras, the dvd that came with for set up is so generic it is almost no help. The help on the internet does not let you talk to a live human rep at all. If you need more than 4 camera system with more radius coverage than wire hook up allows buy two or three systems and set up as separate systems because the wireless cameras are not dependable

I purchased this model with 6 cameras and 1 camera never worked. Had to go through 3 different emails to even get any help at all. You don't even have the option to talk to somebody. Just to reset your Password you have to go through emails. Night vision will only go to about 30 ft during a full moon. Picture quality is satisfactory, but don't expect a lot from the infrared. I am returning this as soon as I can get it uninstalled. I've only had it up for a week. Don't expect much in the customer service dept if you buy this product!
