Better than I expected, easy install and instructions. Night time viewing better than I expected. Clear view day and night.

Had experienced thefts from a work truck and bought after researching using the price match option which provided a significant savings. Defender provided a detailed installation manual and had few problems. The ClearVu app is also great so I'm able to view while away without paying monthly fees. Cameras are extremely clear day or night with good range of view and was able to easily conceal around the home. Would definitely recommend or buy other products from them.

It works perfect and I like how it send me the nightvision photos.

Easy to hook up . Video quality is great during the day , at night the picture is as clear as the day.

The cameras and DVR system work as expected. No issues with setup. The menus are basic, no frills, just what you need. I like that I can view the live feed and recordings from my phone, even with a wired system. We had to contact customer service (not a reflection on the equipment) and they are top notch. I couldn't have asked for a better experience with a company's customer service. I am very happy with these cameras and will not hesitate to purchase this brand again, if I ever need to.

The system is good. Easy to hook up, great quality video, but the quick start instructions are non-existent. You need to download the instruction manual and leaf through the 87 pages, to find out how to do basic stuff like how to set the current date and start recording. That could easily be put into a quick start guide. I went 3 weeks before I realized I had been recording, but it was stored under the default start date of 9/16/2015, which I guess was the date of the factory software load. Virtually impossible to try and find anything using that date as the starting point.

Really decent setup for the money and have had no problems as of yet. Pretty clear but cant read close up. Night vision is good.

Hooked up all 8 cameras myself in a short amount of time and the system works great. Very impressed with the picture and would highly recommend.

I like the ease of installing and set up but the software does not work with MAC and only works with IE. i guess thats not a huge thing but it would be nice if it works nicly with other things. Cameras are sturdy made from metal and are big but that can be a deterrent if seen i guess. the DVR software on the box its self is a little short in options again will not work on my MAC. some times when i bring up the cameras local i have to reboot the box to see them on the screen. I use the remote web service mostly but have to have the 1 step remote viewing software up all the time you can not simply put the IP in and open it that way. all in all it is a good system i just wish the software was better.

We just recently installed the cameras. A little hassle to install them but we are pretty amazed by them! I'll give more updates as we use the cameras longer.

The video quality is less than I expected. The biggest disappointment is that you cannot change the camera settings remotely.

Good all around camera system, fairly easy to install, good clear image. Software could be more simple to use.

I bought these some time ago and still haven't put them up yet. I can't speak to performance but the cameras are much bigger than you think they are. They will be noticeable hanging outside and if you planned to put one inside, you might consider a different product. I don't want this huge camera in my foyer.

Got this one due to the price Was not disappointed was easy to hook up. Had a problem viewing on line but thats because I use windows 10 and it does not support windows 10 But great picture and easy hook up !!!!

I have purchased this item and Love it ay $399.00 I would recommend it to the novice and small business owners. Easy set up, Ipad support and apps for mobile could be better but I am sure they have other appps that will work, would buy again.

This camera system has very good color picture and good customer support. My only problem was solved trying to view remotely on my phone. Tech support fixed this quickly and now i have access to my home while away. Go buy one! You wont regret it.

I bought this two weeks ago and it work excellent. All the cameras work great easy to install, great color in all cameras, very clear, you can also at night see quit a long distance. My wife and I our very happy with this Defender Security System.
