Fully integrated high end speaker system. No need for an extra bass speaker. They are tall and thin and sound awesome.

They sound greater when they work but the subwoofer amps are faulty and im on my 3 one per speaker but the company wont give me an updated speaker they just make you wait a month for an amp

Had these speakers for a little over a month now and they are absolutely amazing. I also purchased A90 height speakers for ATMOS and a DT CS9060 Center channel. Unbelievable combination. The built in subwoofers make the room rumble when watching movies with great sound effects. Streaming music sounds fantastic as well. Can't believe I waited so long to upgrade my house theater system. Well worth the investment.

very important you get someone from Best buy to come out and show you how to hook the bass up properly it is great outstanding performance.only problem I experienced was the delivery driver that deliver this did not take care of the box, the installation was damaged and the product was damaged but I returned it and they issue another one.

Happy to have these speakers. Costumer service was excellent but box was open on one of the speakers.

I do not have much to say, this is an amazing speaker with an amazing sound, I think the 5k speaker will produce same sound quality, and to the Bose system fan I would like to inform them that Bose is really low comparing to this

At first I was looking to install in-wall speakers but after testing the Definitive Technology towers versus in-wall speakers I was immediately convinced, the clear voice and deeper sound you get is outstanding, great product for the price.

These are fine speakers at full price. But value wise on sale is the way to go. Can't imagine better sub 1k sound in a tower. Using the lfe connection though not the "recommended" option absolutely gives more than enough space to fill a good sized room.

I upgraded from the 9020 and im pleased that i had. It goes great woth the 9080 center speaker i thought about getting a subwoofer but i dont believe i need one now.

These towers are AMAZING! The sound quality and built quality are fantastic. I am so happy I went this route. Worth every single penny!

Love, love, love these speakers they rock.. with the 10 inch sub these make movies amazing.. there big so make sure you have the room.. I bought the atmos toppers to set the whole system off..

Awesome clarity even at higher volume without distortion

The item was described open box box and excellent. It arrived damaged and missing parts! Tried to exchange it for an exact item in same condition. Bestbuy would not honor their printed promise from the website for exchanges! Horrible! Subwoofer not working as well.

I got these as a first stage to a dedicated media/theater that my wife gave me as an anniversary gift. Thanks Leonard at Magnolia in Durham, NC for doing the price match down a very low price. As for the sound, these are amazing, bass is punchy without being fatiguing. Mids and highs are crisp and clear. If you can find these as they are being discontinued you will not be sorry

Ok so first lets talk about the appearance...these towers look a bit boxy at the top. The led D on the bottom of the speakers are a nice touch and I love the octagonish shape of the speaker base. Now the sound. These speakers are powerful and definitely need to be tuned for that perfect sound that these babies can deliver. One very important accomplishment of these towers are that they can produce accurate bass at low volume. Many speakers just cannot do this. Def Tech does it with ease! The highs deliver without ear fatigue for such big powerful speakers. When you turn the volume up really loud the Def Tech give you controlled increase to where you dont get distortion and the bass doesn't get sloppy... it stays tight but it does rattle anything not tied down like you wouldnt believe. Atmos is only okay... not because of Def Tech but because it just needs to be developed more or you need to just get proper in ceiling speakers... or maybe I was just expecting more. Dont get me wrong they do work! I just find myself wanting to hear more from the atmos toppers. Quick sidebar... if you're not using a power conditioner (panamax) you need to... it makes a difference! B4 I used one I could see my lights flicker when I blasted the volume and my SC-95 would occasionally shut down.... not anymore! With these towers I feel like I'm good for the next fifty years! Now i gotta sell my like new 8060's towers and center channel!

Amazing sound! I've have had a few nice sets of speakers over time, Infinity's, Klipsch Reference, etc. But, imho none of them have created such a complete sound stage for the money. These towers paired with the matching center channel, each having thier own bult in sub creates a very immersive front stage. Also, snagged thes on closeout for a great deal but would not have been upset if i paid full price. They make for a great goem movet experience.
