So i went to the store looking for some kind of good stero system to listen to music, and make movies feel more like an actual theater. When theh showed me in store i was amazed with 2 tower speakers and what they could produce. I was nervous when i picked them up since it wont be the same room set up Best Buy has. Once i figured the reciever out and had them going I was like a 5 year old at Disney. The bass going through my body, the sounds so crisp that makes me smile from ear to ear. I cant wait to get more added to this set up and feel like im at a concert when in reality im sitting at home from the comfort of my own couch!

Clear, precise sound. Makes my aging amp/preamp sound young again. Direct and reflecting speakers manage irregular spaces well. Subwoofer is good, but a separate one is still the better option. Passive woofers give additional spaciousness to lows.
It was a great Christmas deal and compares well to others in its class or even a notch up.

Other than the buzzing noise when the volume is down , speakers are great when volume is up , I just think $1500 a speaker is a little to much per speaker, I will up grade my Yamaha receiver too see if the buzzing goes away .

Bought a pair of DM60s to replace my amazing 23 yr old DefTech BP7004 pair in my living room. Very happy with those so I decided to give the 60s a listen and ultimately chose the 60s over similarly priced Martin-Logan, KEF and B&W after an hour or so of listening. Clear highs, strong mids, and the bipolar array spaciousness immediately flowed from these attractive towers after set up in my 19' x 22' room. Bass, however, didn't match my 7004s. I knew I was downsizing from 10" to 8" but the difference is more pronounced than expected.
I like: rear firing speaker attenuation switch; the stabilizing feet; midrange/highs; handsome, slim design; subwoofers do not pop loudly when power turned on/off (a big minus about the 7004s); bass level control knob; easy set up.
Not fond of: no LFE line level input; power cord "sags" after plugging into back panel; subwoofer driver is on left side of enclosure only, so placement options are restricted.
Overall, I'm very happy. Music is wonderful, maybe a tad better than the 7004s, while bass doesn't match the old DefTechs in tv/movies. Give them a listen especially if you have normal size listening room.
