easy setup and matching the surround to my Denon AV receiver was an easy task.....good sound from small speakers in a medium (25x24) room.

My wife and I bought these speakers and sub woofer to go with our new Denon 4k receiver and our new Samsung ultra hd 4k TV. Set up was cut and dry with no issues. The sound quality is great and the sub woofer really rocks the living room. Surprising range and sound from a speaker package priced so low. Our only problem we had was with the "walking" sub woofer. We have wood floors and we had to Velcro the sub woofer to the floor so it wouldn't walk across the floor during songs with alot of bass or during movies with explosions. These speakers are a great value and are high quality.

This is one amazing system! I put this into my media room and it sounds great! I don't have one complaint about it. The guy at Best Buy recommended it, saying it was on par with the elite systems, and he wasn't lying! The sub really gets those deep bass notes. I have a Onkyo 5.1 in my family room, and this Defiinitive Technology absolutely kills the Onkyo system. Highly recommended for a media room!

For the money, you can't beat it! I set up my Def Tech 600 speakers with the Pioneer Elite 1125w 7.2 receiver with a 4k Ultra HD tv. The sound and picture is amazing! DON'T read into the bad reviews on these speakers. Remember, you get what you pay for but with this set at the SALE price of $560 ($799 Retail) along with the receiver on sale at $399 ($699 Retail) nothing else beats it! I've had several surround sound systems and these blow them away. My ONLY concern is I wish the sub was bigger.. 10"-12" maybe instead of 8". It sounds good for what it is and for the price but I could use more bass! Don't hesitate to buy these especially for $560! I bought the required wall mounts for $40 for the two surrounds (see pic). Also, remember.. it's about speaker placement and adjustment. Clean, clear sound is better than distortion! I did the wiring, installation, and set up myself (see pics).

Was planning on getting a commonly known brand (Sony, Samsung, LG) product off the shelf in the main floor, but ended up spending time (about 2 hours) in the Magnolia Home Theater section of the store. Wanting to stay within a reasonable budget, I wasn't sure if I would find something until an Associate directed me to a brand that I was not familiar with yet had very impressive sound quality despite its diminutive size. Fortunately, there was a very good promotion package being offered with the Def Tech HTS which included a Pioneer receiver. After experiencing the sound from the Def Tech speakers along with reviewing the specs for the Pioneer receiver, it was too good of an offer to pass up. Since the room layout and set-up at the store was in no way similar to my home (high, vaulted ceilings), I was wondering how it would sound when I set it up. To my surprise, it sounds very impressive.

I have a very large space that not totally sound proof and was very concerned about buying these speakers. The awesome woman at best buy convinced me these speakers would do the job. SHE WAS RIGHT! I was shocked at the sound, even from the center channel, which is kinda small. The sub had so much power I had to turn it way down. My home theater sounds incredible!

These speakers sound awesome. I got a great deal when I bundled with the Denon receiver and it blows my old system away. The small speakers provide big sound and the subwoofer has plenty of power where I usually have to set it below 50%. I live in a loft style apartment that is very open and these speakers provide plenty of power to fill the room.

I just love this system! Yes, for a really large home theater room these may not do the trick, but for a small to medium room they are more than adequate. Great sound and solid construction. I returned the first set because of a hum in the sub woofer, but it turns out that it's ground loop noise. Can only hear it when all sound is off and the sub amp is on. Working on a solution just because I'm a perfectionist when it comes to audio/video. Paired this with two large Infinity bookshelf speakers as the front mains. Sounds great! Would'nt recommend using the satellites for mains, probably wouldn't have much punch. Bought the Pioneer receiver with these and got an awesome deal as a bundle package.

I just bought these and haven't really got to break in. But so far I am very happy with my purchase. I was actually going to purchase the 4" klipsh speakers but were out of stock. However I was happy i did not and I came across this set as they were cheaper,smaller, and seam to be just as good. They look fabulous and exactly want I wanted. For a small living area these were perfect size. They are hooked up to a onkyo 980watt and sound great. Subwoofer not real super super deep but good enough for the price of all the speakers I got on deal well worth.

My husaband is all about our sound system. We had a hand me down for years but he always had them in the right spots and optimized the system. We decided to upgrade and thanks to our wonderful best buy we eneded up buying Definitive Technology - ProCinema 600 5.1-Channel Home Theater Speaker System - Black. The sound is crisp and perfect. We can really hear the diffrence. The sub woffer works great. Being as they are not propritory they are not as simple as plugging in. If you buy them make sure you have a wire cutter. They are worth the work though. I like that the speakers are small and do not take up alot of room adn they can be places anywhere. Great speakers.

Awesome sound over the entire power range. I keep the volume low most of the time because of my close proximity to my neighbors, and everything still comes out perfectly clear. On the few time I did turn the volume up the sound maintained a good quality.

I was hesitant to buy these speakers but the sales person gave me a good demo and explained them to me. I was offered the open box price which made the cost very reasonable (and pretty close to what I was originally looking at). I decided to buy them and haven't regretted this decision. They sound great.
