The speakers sounded amazing, unfortunately, the subwoofer wouldn't work and I had to return the package. The sub seems to be the main issue most buyers are having issues with.

I had some old school tower speakers that I was resistant to get rid of...the wife was tired of moving these 50 pound lunks... so I bought this set on sale and never looked back! The punch is there and the satellite’s are impressively made and have unbelievable sound for their size! Not disappointed and my tower speakers have been retired!

Sound fantastic with the Denon for films and telly. Music not as good as a proper setup but the speakers are fantastic for there size.

I have been wanting to upgrade my home theater system for a while now and on a recent trip to my local Best Buy I saw this system on sale. The speaker are well made and look great. I pared them with my Elite Pioneer 5.1 receiver and they sound awesome very clear with great response. The sub has ground shaking bass in a nice small package. You can't go wrong with this setup.

Was trying to decide between this and Bose, read a lot of reviews on both and wanted the bass sound. I'm very pleased with this purchase. Fills my room great.

I bought the speakers as a bundle at Best Buy along with the Pioneer ELITE Receiver. The speakers fit my needs in terms of size and it was easy to connect. It has a decent build and the sound is not bad. The subwoofer has good bass as well. I would have liked to see (a) more power on the Right & Left speakers (b) a better user guide and (c) capability to tilt speakers without having to buy a separate attachment.

Quite happy with the performance of these speakers. We didn't want a big bulky speaker, but we did want big theater quality sound. This set does a great job.

I was looking for a different brand when I was reviewing online. I went in store and they didn't have what I wanted, but they had these in stock and also on sale. not cheap, but not too expensive either. was a bit leary since I haven't done any research on them, and was very surprised. great clarity, good surround sound, small enough to be versatile and the sub puts out good tone

Almost bought the Bose speakers however i really think I get a better sound I've only had them a few weeks so still working through getting the setup perfected

Did a lot of research before deciding on the DT 600 system. Found a package with Yamaha avr which was exactly what I was considering anyway and at a significant savings. So far I only have it working as a 3.1 system but already very happy with the performance. Great speaker system, small in size but powerful, at least as good as a Bose Accoutimass but at 1/2 the price.

I bought this after getting a demo in the Magnolia room. For the price, this package sounds awesome. I have it set up in my basement and couldn't be happier.

I have enjoyed Definitive Technology speakers for awhile. I purchased this for my sister to replace some older Bose speakers she was using with her projector. She loves the smaller size of the speakers. After hooking it up to the Denon receiver, she was impressed. It was a large improvement over the previous Bose speakers. I would recommend them.

These speakers are being used in a fairly large room and have no problem filling the space with sound. Very well built for a good price.

Sound is perfect for the little room I put these speakers in. I would definitely recommend these speakers to any audiophile who has very limited space

thought i would of gotten a better sound out of the lower end bass but it sometimes sounds like it's going to blow. could be just different movies/games.

These speakers give out incredible sounds for the price. Best buy will on occasion run a combo special on these and I suggest getting them then.

Overall good system for my smaller media room (12x12). I have not noticed a 'wow' factor with the surround sound. The bass creates a theater feel but once you get it up enough for the feel it drowns out some dialogue. Also the bass picks up undertone noises in movies once it is turned up. For instance, sounds like cars driving or machines cause the bass to rumble and can block out other sounds. Easy install, I did it myself (room was pre-wired). Easy to use and toggle between movies/tv/sports.

This is a great upgrade from my all-in-one box kit. Looking to keep them for many many years. Pro-tip: Top Gun sounds GREAT on these speakers.

If your looking for a good pair of speakers this set is perfect. After reading disappointing reviews abouth sound quality from Bose I looked into these. These sound awesome with my denom receiver.

When my wife and I set out to buy new surround sound speakers (we have a 7.1ch Denon AVR-1611) we had our minds made up that we would be getting a Bose system. When we arrived at the store and asked for the Bose, the salesman asked if had considered the Def Tech system and let us listen and compare and HOLY MOLY! The Def Tech system blew away the Bose! Incredible range, deep bass tones, rich & crisp mids... It sounds just as great in our home as it did in the store!
