Matched with D11’s the speakers were at a perfect ear level. I filled mine with play sand to give them more stability and remove any possibility of vibrational transfer to for. Would recommend and purchase again!

Great stands for D9 speakers.

High quality adaptable stands
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.These are high quality stands with excellent fit and finish and a very clean appearance. They are 30.92" high and were used to mount Definitive Technology SR-9040 surround speakers using Velco to secure them to the 5.51" x 5.51" steel top plates. The large 12" x 12" MDF base plates make the stands difficult to tip. Assembly was very easy with only the base plates and decorative aluminum collars requiring assembly. While cables can be run through the steel columns, there is no provision to do this. This required drilling holes through the base plates into the columns and in the top rear of the columns just below the top plates. Also, the rubber pads do not cover the entire surface of the top plates as shown in the photos. Instead, there is a 5/16" wide rubber strip along the edges. But overall, I am very happy with these quality stands.
