A wonderful pair of front-side speakers. Built in woofer is great, turn it to 10. Trebles and mids superior. Watching Independence Day with Polk rears, Olympic Center was better than theater. Worth the price. They are slim enough to suit my wife!

I think this pair of speakers is an excellent value. The imaging is very good and sound is smooth and crisp without being sibilant. Adjusting the powered woofers is a big plus and fills the lower frequencies without sounding bloated--just be sure to not overdo the level. I am extremely pleased with this purchase!! I believe these would be great in a surround system also. I did not try this however. These are in my stereo system.

After previewing multiple speakers in the magnolia room I decided on these speakers mainly because of the built in subwoofers. The floor shakes when these babies are cranked up. Sound is unbelievable. Would definitely buy again.

Sound quality is great. And the built in Subs are really powerful! Definitely don't need to get a separate sub if you have a small living area.

My lp's are all from the 60's & 70's so I needed full rich crisp sound that lp's do produce. After 40 plus years of not having a system, I'm back into that rich sound. These speakers are very good and a lot of value for the price. I'm very pleased.

These a powerful little speakers perfect for L/R channels in a smaller to mid-size room. Part of me wishes that I had bought the bigger ones, but for the price, these speakers provide a lot of bang for your buck. So unless you have the desire to be deaf, or you have a large, open room, save the money and go with these.

I knew Definitive Technology made quality speakers, but I didn't expect this kind of sound for the size and price of these speakers. I bought a Supercube 2000 thinking it would pick up the slack (it's ridiculous too) but it isn't even necessary for room shaking bass. I now have a full Definitive system with the 8040 center channel and SM45s in the back pushed by a Yamaha RX-A860. I can't imagine a better system for the money.

The Definitive Technology Super Tower speakers are great. The sound is awesome. Love the base sound and the slim design fits perfectly next to our stereo cabinet.

These are fantastic, full-range speakers. One caveat is to make sure your receiver has the wattage and capability to get the best use of these. Recommend a Denon, Yamaha or Marantz as those receivers are built to push a "fuller" sound (which is what these speakers specialize at).

These speakers are powerful and there not even the largest ones! I live in an apartment and I have to be very conscious of the level that i turn my volume up cause they can vibrate the room! Lol. These speakers along with my Onkyo receiver together make a great movie night! Lol

I read reviews and came to the store wanted to buy Energy speakers but when I listened to the Definitive Tech it was much better than Energy. I decided upgrade and bought DT instead and so far I am very happy with them.

crystal clear sound quality. built in sub feature is cool enabling not needing any special experimentation needed from user. Two option is either you just connect the speaker wires (in this case def tech will take care of what needs to be sent to sub), else can have lfe out from sub to be connected to the lfe input on the speaker if specifically want the low frequency signals to be directed. both scenarios works great.

I finished my basement with a bar and an entertainment area. I needed a good quality pair of speakers for the combo of Karaoke and Video Jukebox I had set up. For this purpose, didn't want surround sound - just high quality pair of speakers for 2-channels. These speakers were perfect. No screeching at higher volumes, and booming base even without subwoofers. I would definitely recommend.

I've been looking at speakers for sometime. After many trips to the magnolia area and many discussions with the sales person I decided to go with these speakers along with a new center channel. All I can say is these speakers sound awesome!

I was looking at Klipsch speakers when these caught my eye. A much richer sound for a very large space. Very happy.

It took me some effort to set these up properly, so that they "played well" with my Denon receiver/amp. But now that's done and i really like the way they sound!

Amazing is the only way to describe these little powerhouses. I have Definitive 8060s in our home theater and wasn't sure that I would be "impressed" with the babies of this line. I was totally blown away by the sound that these little towers deliver. Every bit definitive and clean. Every bit as powerful. Deep rich bass and perfect sound,.

I almost feel bad about how little I paid for these on clearance. They are great speakers, the built in subwoofers also sound great and you can see and feel the quality of the construction. After owning them I would *almost* consider thinking about buying them even at full price!

The speakers sounds good but was lacking decent midrange sound and the bass is a bit boomy for my taste. It's great for action movies but for music its not as rich as the higher model of the Definitive speakers. I eventually returned these ST8020s for the ST2060s.
