EXCELLENT EXCELLENT SPEAKERS
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i went to the mangolia best buy store and heard a demo of the 8060 ST and was amazed did some research and saw there was step up version which was these babies 8080 ST i quickly did some research online none of the mangolia best buy near me had them as a demo so i looked at reviews saw it had bigger subwoofer etc etc and went ahead and purchased these 8080 ST floor standing speakers along with the 8080 HD Center Channel when i recieved these speakers i hooked them up to my brand new REciever which i bought all the same day DENON AVR-5200w when i heard these babies using a regular blu ray player i was so blown away and i mean literally blown away they sounded better than the 8060 st they had at best buy there was no need for a subwoofer literally the walls and floor literally was shaking there were times depending on a movie scene these speakers made me feel as if i was in a earth quake its really that powerful for the night time i lower the bass so it dont disturb my neighbors late at night ( People Up STAIRS) and it still sounds amazing i dont feel like i have to go to the movie theaters to go see a movie i want to see i can now patiently wait for it to release on blu ray and hear it from my home. AS of now im running 3.0 SETUP these 8080ST and 8080HD (Center Channel) going to buy the 8080BP (REAR SURROUNT) which bestbuy for some apprent reason dont sell but u can get them else where if u have the money go ahead u dont know what ur missing out on / setup to take speakers out of box get it up and ready took me about 20-30 minutes i recommend u have someone with u to help u take it out of the box becase these speakers weight about 60-80 pounds and u dont want to risk them falling especially at this price u get for what u pay for and thee speakers are so totally worth it the price point might have a lot of ppl step back from purchasing them but trust me its so worth it

Fabulous sound all over the room

I am enjoying my music all over again. Have been a definitive technology fan for 5 yrs. Now. And won't be going back. Worth every penny, especially on sale. Highly recommended.
