These definitive speakers have the best quality sound from home speakers I've heard. Other brands people rave about sound flat compared to these. They are easy to set up and easy to use. I love that they are wireless and I can use with my iphone and iPad. I like that I can choose which speakers to play through the house just by clicking select.

This speaker provides great sound and was very easy to connect with my dt sound system.

Easy to setup, and great sound and clarity for the size. Happy I did not get the Sonos and got these (got 2, one for my bedroom and one for the pool room). Very easy to use. With volume towards the higher end, sound still sounds great.

The speaker itself is awesome with fantastic sound. The software however is terrible and the wifi usage cuts out all the time and takes a while to reconnect, it is really annoying.

I was impressed with the sound quality right out of the box. After a couple of weeks of break-in, it really opened up and sounds even more imnpressive, despite the small footprint. I use this as a desktop speaker in my office, and it continues to amaze me and my co-workers.

I had an old Denon receiver that finally lost one of its channels, so I decided to purchase a Pioneer receiver and take advantage of the wireless feature. I purchased two of the W7s. I am pleased with the sound. One has a distorted sound when its turned up and the bass is loud. The other one doesn't do that. Their sound is good especially when they are together in the same room. I am using them in different parts of the house and the sound is still good. I tried these on 5G network but since its range is limited they would cut in and out. I programed them both to operate on the 2G frequency and they work wherever I place them in the house. The app is ok, it does what it is suppose to do. Once you get use to it it is easy enough to use. I was able to get these on sale. They are nice but their quality isn't a $399 speaker. I recommended waiting for the sale price. I don't know if I will purchase anymore or wait on the wireless technology to improve. Cheers!

These wireless surround speakers produce clear and rich sound to compliment the Sonos playbar and sub. They were easy to pair with the playbar and continue to amaze me with the balance of sound they produce.

I purchased the W7 and tried to connect it to my wireless network. The speaker said it was connected, but the app would not recognize that there was a speaker on the network. When I called the DT support number I was told that the speaker was defective. I then received the W Adapt that I had ordered and tried the same thing. Once again it said that I was on the network, but it wouldn't show up in the app. Once again I called DT tech support. This time I was told that DT wireless products do not work on any Apple routers. When I asked what I could do to work around this I was told to buy a new router. When I asked if they were working to fix this I was told that the support team didn't know if they were or not. I have returned everything and will go with another brand instead of spending another $100 -$200 on a new router.

Loved my first one so much, I bought another for a different part of my house. the acoustics are amazing and can easily overpower a small space. The design is minimalist; fits into any decor and takes up negligible space. I bought this product versus denon or sonos because of the ease of use and the ability to play what I wanted without being forced to use what sonos wants me to use. I tried the play-fi app initially and then changed over on my sales guy's recommend to the definitive technology app; I'm not seeing any advantage at this point in using this dedicated app. While pricey, I'm thinking this is still a good investment for top of the line stereo equipment. One major displeasure I have is the inability to control multiple devices at the same time without purchasing an upgraded application. Seriously? At $400 per unit, DT ought to give it away!

Nice to have a laptop that doesn't heat up. Screen is large enough not to have to wear my glasses.

I have used these speakers (have 3 of them) for about 6 months now and love the sound. Very rich with great range. However, the app is so poorly designed that it makes the whole experience very frustrating. One speaker continually drops no matter where is it positioned. I actually traded out speakers to see if the speaker failure tracked and it absolutely did. That one is certainly going back to DT. Music is great when it works, using it for the TV is a horrible experience. DT must update this app or lose business. I won't buy anything else from DT until this happens.
