    This EconoMat Chair Met does NOT work on thick carpeting! It should only be purchased for hard surfaces or very short carpeting. If you have medium to long carpeting, then you should be purchasing a chair mat made of glass or some other hard surface.

    Pro - perfect size Cons - came with waves through-out the entire 60" length. Letting it lay in the sunlight in a warm room did nothing to help. Also - very thin and not hard enough to protect the floor.

    Wont lay flat without something holding it down. The sides keep rolling up

      Sorry to hear about your experience, AETRUCK4U. The chair mat has been rolled to reduce shipping time and cost to you. Our suggestion for unrolling are:
      1.) Remove the straps and allow the mat to warm up and adjust to room temperature. The warmer the chair mat the quicker it will lay flat. Try a warm room or direct sunlight.
      2.) With the mat on it’s side pull the leading edge away from the mat onto the floor
      3.) Kneel on the edge to hold it in place. Grasp the open ends and lift to unroll. Two people are suggested.
      4.) Apply weighted objects on the four corners of the mat allowing time for the mat to flatten.

    This is exactly what I needed to protect my hard floors from my office chair. The size and thickness is great and the clear color makes the mat blend in with the color of the floor. The only downside was that I had to unfold the mat and place it underneath some heavy flat objects for a week or so to flatten it out after it was rolled up in the shipping box.
