James Dickey's tale of friends who find themselves in a strange predicament that force them to make choice after choice for survival was a great novel, and makes for a great film as well. This movie put Ned Beatty, Andy Cox, Jon Voight, and Burt Reynolds on the map.

This movie creeps me out but I can't stop watching it. I was drawn into it the first time about 20 years ago after watching the dueling banjos scene. After that I was hooked. The blu-ray looks great. First time I've seen it in hi-def.

Got this for my husband as a gift, its one of many movies that he really likes. I will be watching it for the first time and the way he talks about it i can't wait to see it myself.

I was in the store looking for another item, when I came across this sale for this movie. The price was so good that I couldn't pass up buying this movie! I am glad I was able to add this movie to my collection, as this is an All-Time Classic!

This flick brings back memories of when I first saw it in the 70's!! It's classic, with Ronny Cox, Jon Voight, Ned Beatty, and last, but not least, a young Burt Reynolds.

The brilliant director John Boorman and stellar cast bring James Dickey's novel (the author makes a cameo himself) to such life that any viewer needs to emotionally prepared, ala "The Deer Hunter" and "Apolocalypse Now."

Epic duelng banjos and a seen Ed Beatty can never live down. Still gets angr when people kid him about it. Definately a scary journey through Hill-billy territory. I bet it slowed the canoeing industry down for years.

this film is a classic. 10/10 recommend for anyone who has not seen. aged wonderfully, and is a great example of how much better older films are compared to what is out today

This blu-ray was great. The cast does a great job and this classic proves in some scenes that it's way ahead of it's time in its intensity and realism on some scenes. A great watch, worth the bargain price!

This is a older movie that I originally saw in a movie theater and was delighted when I was able to purchase it from BestBuy at a good price so my wife, who has not seen it, can watch it anytime we want.

Purchased this iPad to upgrade from an older version. Setup was quick and easy. The only issue was setting up the fingerprint recognition. It took several attempts before the process could complete.

"Deliverance" is the very best movie that Burt Reynolds ever made! He should have won an oscar as best actor! "Deliverance" is spellboundIng and suspenseful. Action Packed!

Saw this movie a long time ago. It was good then and it is great now! You are always on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen next. And the end is even a surprise!

This looks so much better in Blu-ray. One of the best films from the 1970's. Burt Reynolds stands out in one of his best performances.
