    I received my laptop sooner then expected. It works great. I do minor edits on photos and ease of finding things and using the laptop makes it so much better. I would 100% purchase this brand again. Even for a refurbished laptop it looks and works like it’s brand new

    I purchased this for my 8 yo. It is very easy to use and very easy to set up a parent lock. He uses it for his class and for watch videos.

    Used for kids for school at home during pandemic. Purchased during start of shutdown of schools. Did not know that much about Chromebooks and wish I could have gotten more information about the operation of Chromebook.

    I was pretty happy when I ordered this thinking I was getting a great deal on a spare Chromebook for eLearning. It works fine and the price was good, but I definitely would have chosen a different one if I had known that this one is so old that it's not supported anymore. I booted it up and the first thing it says is "this Chromebook is no longer supported and will not receive software and security updates". If Best Buy had bothered to advertise that fact I would have gotten a different one.

    Would not recommend. Computer is slow and kicks you off WiFi were are other one works just fine at the same location we have tried everything. At least it works though the other one we bought at the same time would not even charge so we had to send back. I guess you get what you pay for but thinking it was from bestbuy I figured they would do a better job.

      We're sorry to hear that your computer's connection was not what you hoped it would be. We'd recommend checking the connection with the following steps if this happens again in the future:

      1. Download and install the latest Wireless Card driver. (https://dell.to/2th3Tpe) After updating the driver, re-establish the connection with the Wireless Access Point and check the wireless performance.
      2. If the issue persists, proceed to step 3.
      3. Power-cycle the local network. Shut down the Dell system, the Wireless Access Point/Router and the Modem. Wait a minimum of 60 seconds before powering up the components in the following order:
      4. Power ON the Modem, and wait for it to boot fully.
      5. Power ON the Wireless Access Point/Router, and wait for it to boot fully.
      6. Power ON the Dell system.
      7. Open Network and Sharing Center
      8. In the left side navigation pane, click on Change Adapter Settings
      9. Right click on the wireless connection icon and select Properties followed by the Configure button
      10. Under Wireless Options, select the Wireless N mode
      11. For Windows 8 or later systems click the Advanced tab and look for 802.11n Mode on the right you will be given the option to Enable or Disable. If the mode is not visible you may need to update your drivers and firmware.
      12. From the drop-down menu, choose Disable followed by Ok
      13. This should restore the wireless download and upload speed. Internet speed can be tested at http://speedtest.net.

    Horrible can’t use the laptop without internet I really got the laptop for school so I could be able to type up my essays and I can’t even do that the laptop don’t work with word

We'd recommend the following solution to add Microsoft Office programs to your Chromebook: Install the Office mobile apps through the Google Play Store. If your Chromebook uses the Chrome Web Store instead, you can install Office Online to create, edit, and collaborate on your Office files in your browser.
