I love this computer, the touchscreen is great very light

I'm happy with this new laptop so far. Admittedly, I was a bit frustrated with the system at first, mostly due to my inexperience with the latest version of Windows (8.1) and the fact that several of my older accessories (VGA monitor, keyboard and mouse) did not work with the new system. After getting a new keyboard & mouse and an HDMI to VGA adapter (plus moving all of my old applications and data), I was finally able to get back to business, so now I'm pretty happy. I do like the fact that the screen folds all the way around, letting me use the system as a large touchscreen tablet, so if/when I need that option, its nice to know that it is there.

I buy this dell to replace a 5 years old laptop. The weight of this Dell make it very comfortable. Is not as light as a table but is not as heavy as regular laptops. The booting time is low for a regular HDD. The battery performance us also good. In comparison with my other Dell, HP and Lenovo in my home this is the best.

This laptop is amazing light weight and very fast.

it is a wonderful super powerful machine... the only thing is .... there is a noise because the fan ... while speaking by skype.. the "others" listen the fan working .... if I can fix this , then would be a "awesome" product.

I really like the lightness and compact size of this laptop. While it is very portable it still has a comfortably sized keyboard for typing. After hearing so many negative comments about Window 8, I was pleasantly surprised at how much I like it.

Great laptop, best sound quality in all the laptops which i checked in this price range. Light weight, great processor, doesn't take much time to turn off/on. Great touch screen and 360 degree tilt option. Worth the money !

I purchased this laptop/tablet 2 in 1 for my daughter since she will be attending college in a few months. I liked that it is both a laptop and a tablet. It's very lightweight and will fit perfectly in a backpack. She absolutely loves it!

Bought this for a college student. Student wanted light weight, good battery life, easy to carry. Got all of that. Only had it for 3 months but doing great so far. Student understands must be treated with TLC because of size & weight. With that TLC should last at least till graduation (2 yrs).

Working with Microsoft Office applications including a custom Microsoft Access CRM system. Quick response. Light weight. Bought for a client to support their business control system. Will purchase more of these in the future.

At first i had some issues. I got the computer just before windows 10 came out so i had to learn 2 new operating systems. Make sure you remove McAfee.

We have an older tablet and a somewhat older laptop. We wanted a little of both depending on the situation, but didn't want 2 devices. It runs our games, is good for leisurely browsing, and is useful for actually getting things done. No major complaints, generally does what it should. It does feel hot when chugging away and fans like crazy when running a big game. Could be lighter and more tablet-y sometimes. And the Window 8 start menu is taking some getting used to...

Easy to setup/use, good battery life, I love the cross flexibility of the touch screen/mouse. It boots much faster than my old laptop, though still not as fast as a true tablet or Ipad. It was a bit difficult to setup MS Office, however, once I got it done, it works great.

I'm not a tech savvy person, don't ask me about ram and rom and gigs because I don't know. But I needed something capable and durable for my school work and I needed it to be fast also. This 2 in 1 definitely fits the bill, it powers up quickly and glides through browser tabs like a panther. The tablet aspect of it is also nice, it's a significantly larger screen to watch apps on like Netflix vs an ipad air. I updated to windows 10 as well, even after reading the bad reviews and have been really impressed with the ease of use. The i5 processor isn't the best out there, but the price on this was just right, as opposed to the pricier surface pro3 I was considering, and it has significantly more features than the macbooks I was also considering. I got this sucker as an open box and saved myself close to $180 (ymmv) so even if it craps out on me in a year, it's not a huge loss, but I really think it'll hold up longer than that.

It is a very easy to use, light laptop, perfect for college. The only problem we had is the sound of the fan. Once in a while it is very loud

It's 13" size makes it absolutely great to take around as you go. Not many laptops at this range come with the 8 GB RAM, which is real good on this machine. I rarely use the system as a tablet, but find the touch capability really useful with Windows 8. My only gripe with it is that the very high resolution means that you have to set apps to scale up to read text, and this makes some applications that don't support native scaling appear blurry.

It has all the features which makes it a great purchase at such a price. The touch screen response is fantastic and the aesthetics and the sleek look makes it anecessary attractive product. I recommend the laptop to all those who want value for their money.

I'm fairly happy with my new laptop, which is quite a bit smaller than my other laptop. Love the touchscreen. But the mouse/cursor is very squirly and the screen light dims and goes bright and then dims again when I use it as a tablet. Nobody seems to know why. So, taking it back in to have store fix it or exchange it. I also wish there was more info on how to work Windows 8.1 after having used only windows XP

My daughter is starting college and is very happy with her new laptop. It's just the right size and conveniently turns into a tablet...looking forward to how much it can do!
