I use this for a mobile audio recording and mastering DAW. Enough room on the SDD for Win 10 and all of my applications and plugs. Plenty of power in every aspect to deal with the demand. The Thunderbolt 3 port is a serious plus for linking to external sound devices.

When considering a computer that had enough storage and great resolution capabilities, this computer has met that requirement. Having the larger screen for design and presentation, is a real plus. The touch of the keyboard is smooth. I would recommend this computer to any designer using any design program for cabinetry.

I bought this laptop for developing software so the graphics card is wasted on me. The CPU is very fast and it has great battery life for the price. It also supports connecting to a docking station via the USB-C Thunderbolt connector for power/video/audio/mouse/keyboard; I haven't bought the docking station yet because it's $400. What's disappointing with this laptop is that Dell didn't install the dual drives correctly. The 120 GB SSD is where all your applications are installed which fills up very fast; I was 80% full after installing my necessities. The 1 TB HDD is just a Data (D:) drive. I used EaseUS to move everything over to the HDD and then set up the SSD as a cache drive. Windows and all my applications still load really fast, and I have a lot more space for applications.

Seems like a perfectly fine computer. It's made for gaming but I bought it for the screen size, not it's gaming capability. My only complaint so far (I haven't used it much) is that the battery life seems pretty poor. I have to keep it plugged in if I plan to use it for more than an hour at a time. I imagine gaming features would drain the battery even faster than just surfing the web.

Great PC for gaming or BIM work. Runs a little hot but taken care of with stand. Don't like the touch pad not having spots for buttons that don't also move the mouse point but generally on a mouse so not a big deal.

Overall I have liked this computer. I do a lot of photo processing and design on here and the speed is great. It is a heavy laptop but the major problem I have is that the tracking pad is not working correctly anymore. In order to scroll or select or move up and down on a page, I have to use extreme pressure to get the tracking pad to even recognize my finger is touching it. This just "went out" at the year mark. Coincidence?

Needed a computer that could handle AutoCAD, Revit, & Civil 3D. So far it’s done great! It’s quick to load the programs and the graphics are wonderful!

It's a good laptop, but for the price I paid, I expected better. The SSD makes startup a bit quicker, but only a bit. The built-in speakers are absolutely anemic. The computer hung up several times, but that may have been partially due to not being fully updated. Hasn't happened recently, still disappointing.

Have had Dell laptops all my life and never experienced any problems. This one in particular is fast and has great graphics.

This laptop is great, very fast, and lots of room for file storage.

We use this laptop for Radiologists that their software uses a lot of resources and this laptop runs these applications with ease. The SSD that it comes with is a must for modern laptops. I recommend uninstalling all unnecessary software that in comes with.

This computer is great! Better than than the other new dell's I tried.

My older computer was running slow after a few years of use and maybe some rough handling on my way to school, and this new one runs way better. It is fast and has several new programs, apps, and capabilities that my older computer didn't have. With great speed and memory and a large screen, it certainly makes doing homework or leisure time better.

I bought this for Photoshop, I needed a fast computer with space and I was told to get a gaming PC. I was so glad to find this DELL because I really wanted a laptop vs a tower but needed the RAM and this little jewel packs in exactly what I needed.

This laptop is fast. For a gaming laptop it is one of the best.

Boots up fast in less than a minute. The keyboard could be better.
