A stupid practice for the laptop manufacturers.

I was able to load my Turbo Tax on my new PC without any problem. The plug and Play was a little slow but I reconnected it and away it went. Great Value

Has a longer cord about 18" than other ones. Got it on sale for half price-can't beat that.

Great option for those systems that do not have a built-in drive. Sleek design makes it look good on the desktop.

When I spoke with the folks at best best buy they suggested this item. I didn't think I would use a DVD player but I have used it a ton. Happy customer:)

So far, no issues with this DVD/CD player. My only concern is that when the slot for loading a disk is open it fees a bit flimsy and needs something placed below it for support.
