Excellent external hard drive! Very user friendly!

I purchased a new computer, and it didn't have a built-in CD/DVD drive. I found this on the Best Buy website, and it's just what I need for all of those discs I've accumulated for so many years. Also, I got it at a great price!

I'm a big fan of dell products. I bought this almost 15 months ago and it is still working perfectly. No issues with the performance as I'm using it very regularly. Compatible with HP Docking station as well.

Needed a temporary drive at an affordable price. This Dell product was and still is perfect for the job.!!

The external drive is just what I needed it works great it does what I needed to do when I need to do it easy to use easy to store I have a mini computer called Zoey and it has no at all DVD players at all so this is just great

Good External DVD/CD for your PC. My laptop didn't have CD and I needed to reinstall some software and play some other CDs. Glad that Best Buy had this very handy plug n play device. Great price, nice slim design and recognized upon plug in to a USB input.

Was finally able to transfer all my old cds to my laptop

Simple plug and play right from the box and included the USB cord. New computer didn't come with internal disk drive and I needed one to reinstall software that wasm on a disc rather than a download. Worked perfectly for me

This is very disappointing. I installed the software included. Immediately was told I needed to upgrade to newer version, OK. After I upgraded I tried to burn video files to a DVD, was told in a pop up window that this feature requires that I purchase an additional feature upgrade for $39.99 What's the point of buyer the DVD ripper if it does not include the appropriate software, its a RIPOFF!. This player is very limited to what it can do without the additional software, IE; play cd's copy files to disc. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS DISC DRIVE

Works great. Does it’s job and when you place the cd/dvd it sounds great as well. Would recommend for budget or just a cheap and easy way to copy on a disc.

Reads and writes very well. Write speed is faster than expected and the quality is very good

Great price BUT noticed how while watching movies makes movies pause for a long time like it was loading and sometimes I’ll just plug it in the laptop put a movie in and computer will just freeze
