Was finally able to transfer all my old cds to my laptop

Good External DVD/CD for your PC. My laptop didn't have CD and I needed to reinstall some software and play some other CDs. Glad that Best Buy had this very handy plug n play device. Great price, nice slim design and recognized upon plug in to a USB input.

Great price had to get one for my Acer Desk Top and to use for my other Desk top

Good product and works with any computer so portable use will be helpful

This is very disappointing. I installed the software included. Immediately was told I needed to upgrade to newer version, OK. After I upgraded I tried to burn video files to a DVD, was told in a pop up window that this feature requires that I purchase an additional feature upgrade for $39.99 What's the point of buyer the DVD ripper if it does not include the appropriate software, its a RIPOFF!. This player is very limited to what it can do without the additional software, IE; play cd's copy files to disc. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS DISC DRIVE

Works great. Does it’s job and when you place the cd/dvd it sounds great as well. Would recommend for budget or just a cheap and easy way to copy on a disc.

Reads and writes very well. Write speed is faster than expected and the quality is very good

Best portable DVD drive …easy to carry and it’s looks great

Great price BUT noticed how while watching movies makes movies pause for a long time like it was loading and sometimes I’ll just plug it in the laptop put a movie in and computer will just freeze

Bought this to go with my new Dell 27" all in one pc since it does not have a DVD drive. I own an older external DVD drive but it's much bigger, it's very noisy and it requires its own power source. This was literally plug and play -- just plugged into a USB port and I was able to install some older software that I wanted on this new pc. It's thin so it fits right under my pc -- I leave it plugged in all the time. It's much quieter and faster than my old DVD drive. This is almost as good as having a built-in DVD drive.

Hard to believe we needed DVD ROM. PC's just have USB and SSD these days. I haven't had the need for an external drive for several years. My wife purchased some software on DVD and we realized we had no way to load it. This is plug and play with no required software load, although it came included. Great little drive that does the trick. No issues. 100% compatible with Windows 10 and its built in software. Good read/write speeds. Quiet. Small. Easy to use.

Works as advertised, Good speed. Slightly noisier than others I've had

This product has been a Godsend since I have many photos saved to CD. My Ney laptob did not have a DVD drive, and this was easy to use and took up little space on my desk. I also like the fact that it was also compatible with my Dell Laptop, and light weight and easy to take with me when I travel. I was not used to an external drive, so I had to learn to use it.

The disk drive I got is good! It wasn’t difficult to set up, runs quickly, and so far has worked great. It has run multiple old disks of games from childhood that were a bit scratched up, I was impressed. The only minor issue I have with it is that it’s quite loud (I checked the temperature, it wasn’t getting hot).

Very happy, easy to install, and so far zero issues. Great price too.

Only used it 2 times so far. Set up was breeze and has worked great.
