May be overkill for xbox

Worked well on Xbox, however X box only capable of running at 120Hz. May be overkill for xbox or if your system doesnt have graphics card capable of running at max refresh rate.

We would like to thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. We apologize that you are not satisfied with your Dell 27” IPS LED monitor because it came with dead pixels. This is certainly not the experience we like to hear from our customers. We will share your feedback with our quality team so that improvements can be made to our current and future products.
Your monitor has a built-in diagnostic tool that helps you determine if any screen abnormality you experience is an inherent problem with your monitor, or with your computer and video card.
1. Ensure that the screen is clean (no dust particles on the surface of the screen).
2. Unplug the video cable(s) from the back of the computer or monitor. The monitor then goes into self-test mode.
3. Press and hold button 5 for four seconds to enter the OSD lock/unlock menu
4. Move the joystick to highlight the Diagnostic icon to run the built-in diagnostics.
5. Carefully inspect the screen for abnormalities.
6. Press the joystick to change the test patterns.
7. Repeat step 5 and 6 to inspect the display in red, green, blue, black, white, and text pattern screens.
The test is complete when the text pattern screen appears. If you do not detect any screen abnormalities upon using the built-in diagnostic tool, the monitor is functioning properly. Check the video card and computer.

Awesome monitor for gaming

It is great for gaming. It has a remarkable response time at the max refresh rate, resulting in clear motion with almost no noticeable blur behind fast-moving objects, whether you're gaming on a high-end PC or a console. It also has low input lag for a responsive gaming experience. Finally, it supports AMD's FreeSync variable refresh rate technology, and it's certified to work with NVIDIA's G-SYNC Compatible mode, both of which help to reduce screen tearing.
