I got this laptop for my personal use. Once in a while, I use it to play Fortnite, and the game runs very smoothly with no lag. This is a solid gaming laptop and the price was good!

This laptop is a decent value if you find the right deals. For a laptop to have the specs for this price point and to not be over the top in how it looks with a thin form factor are its selling points and weaknesses. Unfortunately Best buy has made the acer predator the value for performance laptop that they sale. As a college student I enjoy having the functionality of a decent gaming rig with the "sleeper" form factor that this laptop offers.

Bought it last month and its ok nothing big. Headphone jack doesn't work right out of the box. And I can't even close the lid without it having to restart. It sucks that it doesn't have a light indicator because sometimes when I open it from sleep mode I don't know if it's off or just taking forever to boot up.

      Luis,

Thanks for your review. We're sorry to hear that your headphone jack did not work for you initially. We hope that this issue has been resolved. If you'd like your computer to boot up faster for you we'd recommend limiting the number of programs that launch at startup by following these steps:

      1. Close all open windows.
      2. Press CTRL + Shift + ESC key together on the keyboard.
      3. In the Task Manager window, click Startup tab.
      4. Select the program or application that you want to disable from loading during startup.
      5. Right-click and select Disable.
      6. Repeat Step 4 & 5 for all the programs or applications that you want to disable from loading during startup.
      7. Restart your PC.
