For the money, you can't beat the value. You get a 15.6 inch Intel i3 touchscreen laptop with a 500GB HDD, bluetooth capability, USB 3.0 port and even a DVD burner. It runs most apps pretty well. However, don't mistake this for a game console. It is actually not too heavy for the size and the battery life is decent. I got 5 hours on the battery. I wished it had a backlit keyboard and more USB 3.0 ports. I especially wished that the keypad was a bit bigger. The chicle keyboard does require some getting used to.

This was a replacement for a better computer that came broken. Is basic and good enough. But it still hangs a bit if too many tabs are open. Shame.

I purchased a refurbished laptop to save money and got a gem--it's in great shape. However, please ensure you install the antivirus prior to navigating the internet--antivirus serial numbers were incorrect and the computer would not take it. Joined the three year Geek program and love it also.

I bought this to replace a 14" HP Windows 7 Machine that was not worth repairing. I was concerned the size would be too large for comfort but that is not an issue as I rely on a tablet for portability. I am pleased with the speed with the 4GB memory and processor. At the time of purchase I was going to upgrade memory, but store did not have upgrade in stock. Stock memory has been capable of handling MS Office, Quicken. Machine is capable of watching videos and Hulu. Love the Drop box online storage. Windows 8 is not my favorite. Default mode is for a tablet, but the desk top is still there. I feel the Start menu takes too much real estate. The mouse pad lacks a feature my old HP had; a dedicated area for scrolling, and too easy to click on right button when I intended to click on left. Love the matte black finish as it does not show fingerprints like my glossy finished HP. Overall a great buy!
