This computer has everything I need the touch screen is extremely functional and I really like how I can switch from one program to another very quickly. Great speed!

Where to start? I ordered this laptop supposedly refurbished and with windows 8.1. Laptop came in. It was not operable, wanted a product code, of which I was not sent. Took it to the Geek squad to see if they had a product code. They didn't, but I could purchase Windows 8.1 which would give me one. I refused. I ordered a laptop that supposedly worked. I was not about to spend more money to get what I paid for. So, they offered my money back and I could get a different one. In my thoughts, I figured it was just a human error that this one came in like it did. I really liked the features of this model, they had more, so, I decided to try again. GUESS what, the next one came in the very same way. So back to the store I go. Same song and dance. I refused to spend more on something I ordered, that was supposed to work when I got it. After a long argument, they agreed to waive the $30 fee to get that install to make it work. They could not get it to take the updates. So after I go home and call customer service and deal with a really rude person, I finally reached a nice lady at corporate that was forced to listen to my angry rant. She was very pleasant and nice, I wish I had gotten her name, she told me she understood and would see what she could do. The geek sguad called me and said they were working on it. After several tries they could not get it to work, they called me and wanted to know if they could reset it to factory settings. I said do whatever you have to do. After several days I get it back. It does not have Windows 8.1 like advertised. I was so tired of the confrontation and aggravation, I just left it. For now it's working ok. I will never order a refurbished laptop from best buy again and I certainly will not take anything else to this store's geek squad again. I hope they are not all this way.

Compensated for no DVD drive with LG GP60NB50 for about $35. Pros: great value! Entire package works better than expected, very fast. Cons: Windows 8.1 presents a learning curve but once you get over that it is fine. Some trouble getting it to update windows. If you have trouble I would advise trying to do no more than 15 updates at a time. Touch screen is prone to finger prints but I find using the touchpad features (two finger scrolling, two finger sizing) to be better for a laptop. Advise: I would buy this laptop. Do all updates and create a restore point before configuring the computer to your personal desires or adding files.
