This laptop is very light weight so it's easy to carry to school, etc. Great for the price!!

Can't beat the price of this computer. Surfing the web and writing reports as long as you use am external storage it's perfect.

If you prefer to get on line with a computer, rather than a tablet, this is the computer alternative. It does basic computer operations well and is light and portable. It is not recommended for heavy duty computer needs. It is limited in internal memory in addition to basic ram. It works. It is inexpensive. Those are its main virtues.

The laptop was purchased as a Christmas gift for my wife. Being not so knowledgable on the topic of computers, she found it very simple to set up and enjoys using it.

Laptop is good overall but hard drive is fatally small. Windows takes up more than half of the hard drive space. You will need a flash drive for all of your files.

I got this laptops for my kids. They can do their homework and watch netflix. I recommend strongly to expand the ram to 4Gb otherwise it would be extremaly slow.

The only thing I have to say is that it needs more memory. Other than that it is perfect. My son is 7 and he is able to use it as much as any other computer.

got this computer for my mom who just uses it for Facebook.....google...itunes. No complaints! May be a little slow...but serves the purpose!

This was a Christmas gift for my young student and he loves it. Great for his homework research, surfing and games. Drive could be larger.

This PC was for a first time user. Helping I find the track pad a bit fussy, but it could be me. It is used in a limited way using just a couple apps and it should be a bit faster. Anyway for the price it does what it should and the few times it was used online it did what it should have.

The Dell Inspirion is an easy computer to use as just for any age. What I like most about the computer is that there's a window store.

The computer does not have enough memory for the person using it. Didn't realize that most of the memory was used by the operating system. Also not letting us to delete temporary files to free up some of the memory.

Just received but so far so good. Light and portable. Everything seems to work well. Would give it 5 stars if it had a DVD drive.

Because this laptop is equipped with the office home, I bought this laptop for my son who will soon be going to college and uses his phone for everything. I don't think he realized that writing an essay on a phone is very difficult. This computer coming equipped with office is a necessary.

I got this laptop at a great discount through one of Best Buy's Flash Sales & for the sale price it was a good deal for someone who just needs basic usage like email, facebook, youtube, skype, etc.. I tested it with all of these & it looked pretty good for my elderly mother's use. It is all plastic & feels cheap & won't take much abuse or wear & tear so keep that in mind. Screen size is good & sound ok for the sale price. It stopped powering on after about one month's use but I think that's because mom was pressing really hard on the POWER button every time not being used to tech, & broke the sensor underneath, so again, the build quality is barely adequate. Recommend with that caveat - buy on sale as a back up/ light use laptop.

This laptop serves good for beginners however more hdd space would have been better.

I need some inexpensive computers for some employees. Set up was easy, didnt have many issues during that process. Have had a few issues since during regular use. Always easily fixed but little hiccups that might cripple someone who doesnt know much about computers.

This computer is normally in the $200 - $230 price range, but I found it on sale for $140. At that price it is a great buy. It has worked well for the three weeks I have had it. It does not have a touch screen, but for my use that doesn't matter. It also does not have an optical drive, now common for small, thin, light laptops of today. It has a 14" screen, but is still backpackable (is that a word?).
