I thought 28 GB would be plenty of space for a home computer. Windows 10 hogs up 25GB. Windows tried to install an update it there wasn't room for it. I haven't even saved any documents or photos on it yet. Why does it come with Windows 10 if the hard drive isn't big enough to support it.

We bought this for our daughter to play games and watch videos. She is elementary age so we didn't need anything fancy or high tech. This does the job.

This computer feels , very unpolished.....Slow , glitchly and unresponsive.. This computer gets absolutely destroyed by my nearly 3 year old chromebook....This is supposed to be a computer for basic web searching, and watching video, but it doesn't do any of that well....And this keyboard is flexing and uncomfortable.....I appreciate the user replaceable battery.....But I will be returning this tomorrow.

This is a replacement laptop for school purposes, and a major step down from my Mac (2013), which semi-malfunctioned in the middle of saving school work. My mac is still operational, but unreliable for school. As soon as I turned on this Dell and downloaded all updates, the computer has done nothing but run slowly. It's kind of like an old computer on dial up; the difference is the Dell runs slowly even when not connected to the internet. The processor is extremely slow; one of the slowest I've seen in new technology. You'd think for a new computer it would be lightning fast, but that is not the case. I am extremely frustrated with it. My malfunctioning Mac runs faster than this. To top it off, I have no space on the internal memory, not even 1 MB, after I downloaded the provided 1 year subscription of MS Office. This is probably the worst piece of technology I've ever purchased- ever! I am definitely going to return this product and more than likely stay away from Dell products as this product has given me a sour taste in my mouth. You can guarantee the negative experience I've been encountering will be spread like wild fire.

I bought two of these for my 2 ten year old sons & they love it!! They do use it for minecraft and Skype works great, they just use a flash drive to store data on since the laptop doesn't have a lot of memory.

Recently bought this laptop when it was featured on their Flash Sale. I find this laptop extremely slow and lagging when browsing the web. In fact, when i opened my task manager my RAM memory would be at 98% with no applicant running except for my chrome.. The laptop has a stock RAM of 2GB, I then upgraded my RAM to an 8GB to see if it helps the lag... made slight to no differences..... I would recommend to spend a little more and not buy this laptop....

Even after I doubled the memory, removed all of the excess windows 10 features, and turned of the virus protection, this computer is still so slow for basic email and word processing that it is not usable and I have to return it.

The major problem is that the computer takes a lot of time to do simple things like scrolling through a web page, navigating to a different tab or even start responding when you try to type something in the address bar. The brightness adjustment stopped working in couple of days after purchase. Things act up all the time. The webcam though they call HD is 10 years behind in time. It's very spotty and grainy. Not good at all. My only purpose for buying this laptop was browsing and video chatting and portability. While it excels in portability, fails miserably to do what it should do. Wouldn't recommend.

i got this laptop for a present and i used it for almost a year now and i have to say the storage is really bad you only have 2GB of ram and only 32GB of memory and this is a starter laptop for basic web browsing but i wanted it to play the sims or i didn't have enough storage to download it and i need it for school and it takes for ever to load the app and the web site if i were you i would not buy this laptop for even schooling nor gaming it is ment for a kid who can use it and break it and no one would care.

I have nothing bad to say about this product, in fact I never even took it out of the box after purchasing it. That is what concerned me. I tossed and turned most of the night after buying this computer thinking whether or not I made the right Decision the answer was no. If I haven't even tried a product and it's causing me such distress I could only imagine what it would have been like to actually use it. I'm sure the computer would be useful for school work or simple online surfing. But it's specs are Terrible and according to other reviews is extremely slow, so you can forget about streaming movies or gaming. All and all if your looking for a cheap stay at home computer with a decent screen and resolution then this is the computer for you. If not then don't even consider it as an option because it will give you nightmares. My suggestion is spend the extra 50-100 bucks and get a much higher quality product for right around the same price.

Pros: decent CPU, cheap, good battery life Cons: wish it was a faster processor

with basic configuration, it is not a fast computer or anything close. but i need it for daily web browsing and occasional office work. It can get the job done.

I purchased this computer today and will be returning it tomorrow. I know its not top of the line, but it is beyond slow. The worst part was the constant freezing. Not worth the price or hassle of setting it up.

Bought this little laptop during a flash sale. It has been great for playing around on social media websites and surfing the web.

Great for email & web browsing. This is all most people really need if they do email & web surfing.

MACHINE IS VERY SLOW... IT TAKES A COUPLE OF SECONDS TO LOAD "BEST BUY" PAGES (CAN'T BE MY FAULT... I AM SITTING INFRONT OF THE ROUTER... AND ONLY 2.5 MILES AWAY FROM BEST BUY STORE, RIGHT). I BOUGHT THIS DELL AS A REPLACEMENT FOR MY 10 Y.O. DELL WHICH WAS FASTER! THIS IS 2016 OUTSIDE, AND PC SHOULD FLY. I AM TAKING THIS BACK TO BESTBUY.

This thing worked fine for a month, then yesterday it crashed and said there is no memory left. Nothing has been installed except Chrome, and no sites have been visited except eBay. No files have been uploaded. I had a look at Task Manager and it appears the OS is taking up half the disk space. We called BB customer service and, as expected, there is nothing we can do but eat it. They were kind enough to offer to recycle it for us, though! That at least gave me a chuckle. So now we're the proud owners of a $200 paper weight. I'm restoring to factory settings now. Wish me luck! Just figured I'd warn anyone considering this laptop, since it seems to jack up just a few days after the return window.

For the money, this is a nice little laptop. I purchased it to type, email, and print minutes for a committee and it works great for it's purpose. I wouldn't try to do much else with it because it's slow enough with just those limited functions.
