I traded my tablet in for a gift card & purchased this laptop because I needed a laptop for school and I was SO NERVOUS. This laptop has a great battery life, like shockingly so, and it handles me having multiple browser tabs open while writing a paper or navigating the online portal for my school. It doesn’t look fancy, and it gets fingerprints on the outside easily, but it runs well! I don’t regret it at all.

This is my second Dell laptop. I bought it because I had no problems with my previous one and the price was less than comparable laptops. It came with Microsoft security, so not necessary to purchase additional security product. This Computer has all the bells and whistles I need. I also purchased Best Buy Total with it to assure I get any assistance I as a senior might need!

Laptop is good price got it during the black friday sale. It is gopd enough for college homework like essays etc. Have not tried coding with it yet. Seems fast enough. One major issue with it is shipping, there is not air bags or fomes to protect my laptop when it arrived, just box with in a box terribly shipping. My laptop could very well be damaged due to BAD PACKAGING. But luckily it is fine.

Dell remains the best computer choice, in humble, 40-year experience. This one is a perfect example, with "adequate" storage, RAM, and what I would consider the best processor for overall home or small business use. These are always getting lighter, and still relatively easy to open and upgrade the RAM and SSD.

I got this on sale for Black Friday for about 220 less than retail. The only gripe I'd have is the sales person wasn't all that honest. They tried telling me the S Models like these weren't upgradeable with the RAM and I'd have to pay GEEK Squad 150 to remove the S Mode. I went online found out how to do it for FREE. I installed a 500gb Samsung 970 EVO Pro and a Sandisk 480gb SSD. I also just ordered a 2x8gb 3200 RAM kit. So for having two spare bigger drives laying around my place and less than 30 I'll have a system that's competes with 600 to 700 laptops. BTW a little advise. People complain about these having heat issues. A simple solution, buy an after laptop cooler. I've used them in the past they make my laptops run cooler and last longer.

I have this laptop over for a year and it's a good laptop for your first laptop it's not that powerful to handle loads and loads of tasks but doing basic things such as emails and browsing its good I tried davinci resolve on it and it had issues it can run the program not at the best and if your looking for a programming laptop or coding this is a great choice
