I got this for my daughter for her college. She really likes it and has worked out well for her.

The HDD actually failed on me in < a week, so my opinion towards the actual laptop is biased. The screen/resolution looked great, however when you close it and push down on the top of it, it seemed very flimsy, same with pushing the keyboard. Battery worked great, I could get about 5 hours of normal use, so that means maybe 2, 2.5 with gaming Keyboard was much to small for me as well. No numpad even though it had ample room for one. I7 worked great, RAM was good. Mechanical drive sucked for me. I would have prefered a 256 ssd to the terabyte of hdd. Anyways, like I said, the hdd failed on me very fast so YMMV

Bought this laptop because of high def touch screen. Laptop itself performs well and meets my needs but screen is source of frustration. Huge variations in how various software applications handle - or do not handle - high def. Some apps present very tiny type; others blow up extra large. Touch capability varies widely; again varies by app. Hoping this is driver issue that will eventually catch up with hardware.

I bought this because there was an open box at my store, and the specs were extremely similar to the computer that I was looking at. Once getting it home and opening up, I realized it wasn't a 2-in-1 which is what I was really going for. Because of that, I returned it. Besides that fact, I've had great success with Dell, the product felt sturdy, the internal specs are very capable, and the product seemed very nice and appealing from the little bit I handled it. It was just a miscommunication on comparisons and one detail left out that was important to me.

I really love this laptop. I'm still getting used to it, especially after using a tablet for so long, but so far it's fantastic. The only thing is the touchscreen can be a bit weird. You touch a link or something and it highlights what is below it, but still goes to the link you clicked. Other than that it's been perfect!!

The Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Series 4K Laptop has one of the highest resolutions currently available for laptops. The 4K display is significantly clearer than 1080p, and the 2.7ghz processor allows for programs to run faster while the 12gb RAM provides smooth multitasking. The only issue with the laptop is that did to the resolution being so high, many popular softwares load minuscule on the screen.

This item was purchased for my freshman college student. He was impressed with the amount of ram provided and the storage capacity. He creates music tracks and this system was perfect. He originally considered the macbook pro but got more bang for his buck with this computer.

Good for its purpose. slow sometimes. boots off wifi for no reason, and can do it multiple times in a couple minutes. "recommended to me by bestbuy to serve my purpose" yet, it doesnt work as well as it should if i bought it in late august. runs sometimes like a 5 year old computer, and its not even 4 months old
