Wanted a Dell Laptop for home use

I just needed something for home use and this Dell fit my budget and need. I am a traditional user so did not need the all the bells and whistles. Thank you Dell!

Junk- after 11 months of occasional use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased 12-7-15 for my husband for Christmas- He surfs the web - saves a few pictures - NOT hard on this lap top!!!! on/off button frozen-battery not holding charge- per computer repair unable to repair- key board would cost more than to replace the computer. $380 seems a bit much for 11 months of use.

Keyboard Issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The first laptop was purchased for my son and after a day of usage certain keys on the keyboard stopped working. He turned the computer off and let it sit for a few hours then the keyboard starting working. After a few hours of usage it stopped working again. A new computer was sent, but after a couple of days of usage certain keys on the keyboard stopped working again. This model's keyboard is defective. I would not recommend it and I have other Dell models that I have had for years without any issues.
