I got this laptop as it had a dvd player. It is lightweight thou not as light if it didn't have the dvd player, but it would depend on what you wanted. Good laptop though it takes some getting used to the Windows 10. I would recommend this laptop.

I needed a laptop quickly that could handle my work & college courses since my other one died. I didn't have time to investigate my options so I chose this one. Has worked out great so far.

The laptop is a great deal for the price.The only bad thing I have to say is that when trying to open downloaded files from a folder the file explorer freezes and won't open the downloaded item. Even when I right click on the item to delete it, the pop up menu doesn't open, it just freezes. I'm going to take it to the Geek Squad and see if there's anything they can do to help. I also tried to install the 3 month free Internet Security program I got when I bought the computer but it'll download and when I try to run it, nothing happens.

light weight, easy to use, clear graphics. It has a DVD drive so it can be used as a portable DVD/CD player, hard to find now since most are getting away from optical drives.

Love the size, weight, key touch & look! Great Dell support when needed; but it is all pretty self-explanatory. Came with Windows 10 which is a bit of a challenge because of the new look; but works well once you get started.

Had a little trouble with the startup, but this was due to unfamiliarity with W10. Haven't used the laptop a lot yet, but I am satisfied with it's performance so far. Looks, finish, and keyboard are good. Still getting used to the mouse pad. Was hoping for a better price, but this was the best deal I found.

This is my first laptop and since I do a lot of typing the keyboard was very important to me. I like the built-in keyboard but more importantly to me is i'm able to plug in a USB keyboard for when I'm working.

I use this solely for gaming. Lol, Overwatch, PUBG... All running on medium gfx level and I'm solid.
