This laptop is to replace my toshiba satellite I bought 3 years ago with the similar cup and memory but without ssd. To be frank, this new dell is much better than the old one. This dell shows very good performance for daily use.

nice laptop for the price, black friday deal, that is fast. the ssd and 8g of memory was an upgrade for my wife. it did not come pre loaded with programs that most people don't use, which makes it quick on start up. she is happy with the performance, which makes my day if you know what i mean.

The laptop is light (thanks in part to no internal CD/DVD and a s. olid state drive). Because it has a SS drive, it boots very quickly, which i *really* like. The screen is bright, has good color rendering and is a touch screen. Initially I was underwhelmed about having a touch screen but I must admit I've grown to like it. I do not like the touch pad, as my palm causes the cursor to jump around the screen. I've set the pad sensitivity to highest setting, but no help. The CPU is sufficiently fast for text work, but it is easy to see Solitaire cards move after winning a game. Not a good metric, but it is an indication of how games might be played. Overall, a nice laptop. We liked it enough to buy a second to replace my wife's 2YO laptop.

SSD makes this laptop faster to boot up and open programs. Mine did not have a DVD drive, so I bought an external drive that I can use with any computer that has a USB port. The touch pad is very sensitive, so I prefer to use a keyboard and mouse. I like the touch screen. I

Got this on Black Friday and it was a definitely a great deal. Fast working interface and long battery life. SSD is perfect for a college student with a lot of files. The fact that it was a touchscreen was a surprise to me that made the computer deal even better.

Bought this for my 8 yr-old daughter. She plays Roblox and streams a lot of youtube video content with it. She agrees its lighting fast, way faster than her last laptop. SSD makes a HUGE difference. Would definitely buy again for myself or another family member.

This computer is behaving well so far. Touch screen, SSD and 8 GB RAM for 400 bucks. Can't beat it. Hope it behaves well in the future too. Only problem is Window-10 which I am not a big fan of.

It has good parts inside of it, but it feels cheap. All plastic construction. Would definitely be afraid to drop it even from a few inches. But all in all it does its job as a cheap fast laptop.

Not made as well as my previous Dell Inspiron. Much lighter in weight; however, I don't feel as if the quality is the same. I do like having the SSD over the hard-drive. Start up is much faster.

Bought this during black Friday since we needed a new family computer and you can't really go wrong given the speed and power for the price. Only minor complaint is no 5g internet capability.

I bought this lap top a couple of days after Black Friday for $399 to replace my 8 year old Dell Inspiron 15 lap top. The upgrade in speed from my old one is incredible. This product seems like a lot of bang for the buck. Time will tell, so far so good.

Been searching for a laptop for quite awhile. This met all my needs. Fast and enough hard drive for my files. There are others with a lot more “bells and whistles”, but this price was unbeatable!

I've been dealing with long running scripts, advertising, videos that don't play continuously, that I never thought I would enjoy a computer again, till I got this one. I thought I was in the total DOS zone! Now I'm ecstatic ! I would have give it a total 5 review except for my concern that even though I purchased this in November, 2018, the operating system appeared to be dated in March 2018 and already named, as if it had been owned previously to me. Also the computer assist was checked as if someone set it up already to maybe help themselves to the contents. It really has me puzzled . I wish I could find some authority that would explain this to me!

So far it works well. However that was after we took it to best buy and had the viruses removed and the malware protection added. There were multiple viruses on it. The windows 10 operating system was weird out and they had to un-stall and reinstall it a few times to ensure viruses were off. We then bought the microsoft software to add to it. No issues now. I did notice, as someone else mentioned, that the power light button you press to start the computer does not stay on while the computer is on like I have seen with other laptops. The battery light is on and that is how you know your laptop is still on when in sleep mode.

I purchased this when it was on sale for the holidays and I am still very happy with it! It's very user-friendly. It has lots of storage and boots up quickly! I love that it's a touch screen too. It was very easy to set up!

It's a very good touch screen laptop, the build quality seems little cheap however the key board has stood well during the past 2 years of use.

We bought this as an 'around the house' laptop that we could use to check emails, web surf and take on trips when a cell phone wasn't going to be enough. My wife has organized photos on it and taken it on flights to watch downloaded movies. Setup was simple and straightforward, the solid state drive is fast and quiet... about the only thing missing is an internal cd/dvd drive, but that's a problem that can be easily solved with an external USB drive, so given the additional cost vs. perceived frequency of use, it wasn't a deal breaker. Overall, a solid laptop for general use, with a touch screen thrown in as an added bonus.

Purchased this as part of a Black Friday gift for my mom. The build quality is below average - out of the box the trackpad was broken and won’t allow click to drag. Thankfullly my mom uses an external mouse so it’s not the end of the world. Additionally, the feel of the device is cheap and plasticy. The speed of the laptop is great - SSD is solid and processing power is good. I would recommend looking for other laptop deals and avoiding this one as I am not the only one with build quality complaints.

This laptop will primarily be used for my home business. It has just what I need on it to be efficient and the touchscreen is perfect for getting through screens quickly. It was easy to set up so I didn’t lose any time getting on.

Dont buy this laptop battery is the worst not even 2 hours whats the point of a lap top if the battery sucks and the screen is much worst dont buy this spebd xtra money and buy a better laptop if not just go head and buy desk top
