I really love this laptop, the price to performance ratio is totally worth it, its size is great , and what I love the most was its touch screen. To this day it serves the same as the first time .

I love this laptop so far! It's lightweight, super fast and I love the touch screen feature. The graphics are great and I'm a big fan of the backlit keyboard. It can be a little difficult to see the keys during the day time since they're white and the keys are silver. Regardless, I'm so glad I made this purchase.

With Covid I had to order then see what I got. Fun right! Overal I very much like it. Large has everything I can think of. It is fast. One big problem for some people could be it is heavy. Do not think this is a light air book through it in you bag and go. I have a Large Computer bag and size wize and weight it is needed. You get a very comfortable keyboard, large screen, fast computer with the weight. Sound is ok. But you have head phone jack and bluetooth for what every you need. Every port you may need

I will probably return this, but I wouldn't have a problem exchanging it for the same model. I bought this as a desktop replacement so that I could work from home for my software engineering job. I wanted a big screen, and most laptops with this large of a screen and power are quite a bit more expensive. I wasn't looking for a touch screen, but there you go. What I love. -The screen size is big enough to put two windows side-by-side -I LOVE the touch screen...not so much for coding, but for everything else -It's not an ideal size/weight for a tablet, but I dig it anyway. I especially like to use it for D & D. I like to lay it flat on the table to work with my character sheet, etc. -GREAT battery life Why I will likely exchange it soon -After a few weeks, certain system sounds were causing the speakers to crackle. Support remoted in to try to fix it, but they didn't have any luck. I tried reinstalling/updating the sound driver, but no luck. Adjusted the levels. No good. Also, the speakers on the bottom side, so even when they're working fine, it's a little muffled Dell is a brand I trust, and so I'm always looking at them first. Hopefully, this is just a defective one-off and a new one will be fine.

I wanted a big screen Laptop and this was it except it get’s hot really fast!!!! And it’s heavy!!!! Other than that set up was easy and it’s really fast. LadeeT82,
Thanks for your review and we're sorry to hear that you returned your laptop. If you have overheating issues in the future, here are some tips to consider:
Tips for Proper Usage:
1. Dell does not recommend placing portable systems directly on your lap. Due to reductions in the thickness of modern portable systems, heat transfer can be an issue.
2. Using a portable system (Laptop) on a hard, flat, non-cloth surface will increase airflow and reduce heat from underneath and inside the system.
Using the portable system on a blanket, pillow, or other types of cloth will cover up the fan cause the computer to overheat and can cause permanent damage.
3. It is recommended to use the portable system in a Room temperature of 0°C to 35°C (32°F to 95°F) with a Humidity level no greater than 90%.
4. Use compressed air to clean the vents on a regular basis.
5. Using a cooling pad can decrease heat and increase performance.
6. If you want to know the temperature limitations for your system, go to the Dell Support Website, look up your system model then open the user guide under the manuals link.

Get this for all of your media needs. This thing is fast. The keyboard layout took a while to get used to. The arrow keys are small so it will take a while to adjust if you use them alot. Love the large screen and the battery life is decent. It's lasted 5-6 hours on a single charge. I would recommend. I was looking to get a Lenovo but Dell has never let me down. Have a Desktop and never had an issue with that either.

This machine is fast and reliable. It loads programs and file is seconds - or less. Videos are outstanding and the touchscreen is convenient. It was extremely easy to load the machine and install the software I purchased. I would recommend to anyone who wants more than an entry level machine at a reasonable price.

The Laptop is very fast and quiet. The screen looks great and I really like the large keyboard. It is a little on the heavy side if you are carrying it around all day every day compared to my old 15-inch laptop. I guess nothing is free you have to carry a little more weight to get all that extra screen. Great Laptop!

I've had this laptop for only about two months so far and at this point it is doing great. Pros: Screen large enough to easily work on windows side-by- side Speakers work well enough for what I need Love the touchscreen Cons: As a few other users have mentioned, I did have an initial problem with the wi-fi constantly dropping after Windows installed updates. Had to go to Dell drivers to do more installs to fix the problem Been having some trouble programming in R with this laptop. I have had functions that would not run on this system so I had to go back to my old, cheap tower computer that would run the functions perfectly well. Maybe it is like the wifi issue and there is an install that would fix it but I was surprised that the "more advanced" computer was the one having problems with basic functions like install.package

The Dell Inspiron 7000 2-in-1 is an excellent laptop. It has all the speed and capabilities to perform everyday tasks as well as more speed and memory-demanding tasks, such as video editing. The touchscreen feature is nice for those who like to do artistic things and use art programs on their laptop. Great all-around laptop!

Super-fast Laptop, the fastest I have ever owned, It has an all metal chassis too. Touch screen excellent and screen nice and bright and clear as you would expect with true HD, 1080p LCD. Not much to say against this machine except it is a little heavy.

I love this laptop! It is so easy to use. The graphics are excellent and it's perfect for word-processing, watching movies, editing photos, and more. The only downside is that it's a bit heavier than I would have expected for 2020 technology.

speed is fine, big screen is nice. battery stays charged for a decent amount of time. Background lights make letters a little tough to read, suggest lowering or turning lights off. Overall a good value.

I'm not a power user, but surfing, excel, word, other business memory hog apps, and it's excellent. I use this in lieu of my office desktop. My desktop is hardwired to company intranet, insanely slow on opening outlook email, excel - ugh, etc, and my desktop is new. I run this laptop off our FREE wifi (which is slower,) and it still screams through everything. It's fast, has a great display, has enough memory to open multiple apps. It's like they listened to the key elements of what everyone wants in a laptop and threw in some extra with 2-in-1 and touch screen. I went into BB with a plan to purchase a different, smaller laptop that was highly recommended, but that screen was smaller. The salesperson showed me this - I kept going back and forth between all the lap tops and settled on this one, with firm knowledge of the return date in case it wasn't what it said. I also got it on sale - definitely a bonus. In regard to the noisy, constantly running fan, I downloaded that bios update and it fixed it. It took some doing but I finally got it.

I ordered this laptop online because I am 76 and disabled to cannot get to a store close to me. I like certain things about the laptop and most are great but it keeps heating up on me. I believe it may be the power cord as it gets very hot after just an hour or so of use. I can't see anything that came with the laptop that tells me how to get in touch with the powers that be to fix this. I have had it only a couple of weeks too. It is also very heavy. I have to put a pillow on my lap to be able to use it as I have had both hips replaced so my legs and knees are very tender. I do love the sharp color and I can perform most of the things that I did on my old laptop pretty easily. I just have to keep on shutting it down to cool the cord off so I can use it again. I hope someone can tell me what to do. I bought the geek package for help but when I call the store that is closest to where I am in the winter they don't seem to want to help me. It is always sent to voicemail and no one will call me back. I don't want something to happen and me not have my laptop to use. I do all my banking etc. online since I am in Arizona for the winter normally have a home in Idaho for the warmer months. I was happy that I could put my Chrome on the laptop as the Microsoft Edge is not an easy browser for me to get used to. It is not as user friendly as I like but then I am elderly and I am not a gaming person so i just appreciate being able to use my Chrome like I am used to doing. Thank you.

Bought this computer bc needed something with a big screen to comfortable work on and the price for the 17 inch was incredible for the specs. It does take getting use to the size for a laptop (doesn’t fit in a lot of bags and not many accessories made for it that I have found so far like laptop covers and keyboard covers) but overall a great value for the money. It’s quick, has good speed and a beautiful screen. If you are looking for portable and light get something else; if you want a massive touchscreen laptop with good specs and don’t have to move it around a lot definitely take a look at this computer.

This computer seems fine, it gets hot and makes a zzzzzzzz noise-I am worried about it getting so hot within an hour of turning it on. A computer guy told me that is not really normal and it may need to be looked at, but w Covid19 -stuck...so it seems to run hot in the morning, maybe it is running something-I have very little on this machine to make it work out so hard, so I don't know why it is doing that. The screen is nice, colors are vibrant, the keyboard is a little softer than what I am used to, but I am getting used to it. I like the larger screen a lot and I like the storage size. It is not too heavy , so I like that too!

Purchased this for my wife as an upgrade from her old Dell. The touchscreen function is great and the picture quality is awesome. We got the I7 processor which is a beast.

Not my first choice due to previous problems with Dell; however, the price was substantially less than other, similarly equipped brands, so I decided to give it a try. The good is that the unit is very fast and runs cool. I still can't get over how quickly it boots up compared to my older laptops. The display is particularly nice as well. The bad? There have been two issues: one happened after the first update and I had to call Dell to resolve it. After about half an hour of remote testing the problem was fixed, (corrupt software if memory serves). Did not expect to have to call Dell so soon after purchase. The other issue is that the sleep mode is ultra sensitive; the Dell technician tried to fix it but is still the same, i.e., the smallest touch or movement will turn the unit on. Not a big deal but it can be annoying. In short, it is a very capable, fast and cool running computer, but the buyer should not be surprised if some minor problems arise.
