My laptop crashed & I needed a new one. I was actually looking for a black keyboard, but this was available. I love the big screen because I needed it for work since I work on budgets & spreadsheets. The extra memory than other laptops I saw is great! So glad I purchased this & I can't say enough good things about it.

Thus far I like my 2-in-1 VERY MUCH. Faster than my 14 yr old laptop, can sign into my work computer, when I play puzzles on it it doesn't lag, while working I can type on the keyboard AND touch on the screen- that's REALLY FAST. I've found myself trying that on the work computer... doesn't work. I can't compare it to much- I don't buy new every three months as many do. But I love it for me!

This computer is incredible it’s instantaneous speed blows us away at our house my wife works from home and her work computer sometimes gets bogged down with huge files so we just pop them on this home computer and she gets her work done in half the time. Beautiful large screen. The rich color is Beautiful.

Compared to my dinosaur computer, this computer is super fast with solid graphics (used for home photos, not game play). However, I did experience some initial issues with the network adapter. A call to Dell support resolved the issue under the included Basic warranty. Overall, I like the computer and have a long history of using Dell products.

Very fast. Easy set up. Handle everything we can use it for with no problems.

Extremely fast but heavy While running at maximum efficiency the computer has a tendency to get very hot. The hinge that allows 180° opening should be much stronger. And additional USB 3.0 certainly wouldn’t hurt

Nolaw,
Thanks for your review. We're glad that your computer is running fast for you. If you are still having issues with your computer getting too hot we'd recommend the following tips:
Tips for Proper Usage:
1. Dell does not recommend placing portable systems directly on your lap. Due to reductions in the thickness of modern portable systems, heat transfer can be an issue.
2. Using a portable system (Laptop) on a hard, flat, non-cloth surface will increase airflow and reduce heat from underneath and inside the system.
Using the portable system on a blanket, pillow, or other types of cloth will cover up the fan cause the computer to overheat and can cause permanent damage.
3. It is recommended to use the portable system in a Room temperature of 0°C to 35°C (32°F to 95°F) with a Humidity level no greater than 90%.
4. Use compressed air to clean the vents on a regular basis.
5. Using a cooling pad can decrease heat and increase performance.
6. If you want to know the temperature limitations for your system, go to the Dell Support Website, look up your system model then open the user guide under the manuals link.

After months of looking at what would be the best photo/video editor laptop, I decided on this 17" Dell. After taking some time to get the monitor colors correct, it has been great. Up until this laptop I was a Apple fanboy, but the MacBook equivalent is more than twice the price! Thank you Dell!

My old laptop was 6 years old and time to be replaced. I really wanted a bigger screen on my laptop. I looked at reviews and this model had gotten good feedback. I am really pleased with how it works. It's easy to use, update and met all my criteria. I run the Dell Support app weekly to be sure I'm up to date with everything. So glad I made this purchase.

I had to replace a previous Dell (apparently they are not all that waterproof) on no notice. This is physically similar, but has an all SSD hard drive PLUS an Optane cache. This baby boots in seconds, and everything runs fast or faster. Great screen, good enough keyboard. I haven't really pushed battery life yet with the current travel situation.

I bought this at a reduced open-box price and I am completely satisfied. I do not use the touchscreen much but it is a cool feature. The 17” screen allows me to comfortably access multiple windows and the i7 processor ensures that my programs run smoothly. I use it primarily for online classes and occasionally gaming.

I bought it to my own risk as it is just released model with no time test. So I did it and I am happy! It great laptop, very fast, perfect functions as 2 in 1. I use it as tab as well. Its keyboard turns off automatically as soon as you switch it to tab mode. It turns on and off in matter of seconds. I am more than happy with this devise.

I brought this laptop in an emergency and am very happy with it. The drive is fast. The screen in fantastic even after hte addition of an anti glare filter. I upgraded the memory. The only things i do not like is that it does not have a built in RF45 jack and does not have a built in cable lock receiver.

We've only owned this for a few weeks, but it's been a perfect computer (replacing a 7 year old PC). Lightning quick, easy to set up, good size screen. Wish it didn't come with McAfee installed, but it was easy to remove. Transitioning to wireless at home, and this connected to everything easily. So far, very happy with this purchase.

By no means am I a computer wiz but I did a lot of research before buying this computer. First of all it was the least expensive with HD. Add in the memory and the 512 SSD and you have a great machine. I replaced an older Toshiba which still serves me well but this one was a great buy in consideration all of the features.

Son starting college and I had gotten a wishlist of specs to look for. I thought I’d have to special order to meet our lofty needs. This laptop met/exceeded every specification we had on our wish list. Furthermore, it’s set up for gaming graphics and had great features like a touchscreen. Highly, highly recommend
