This is a great computer with HD picture, fast Intel i5 processor.

The Dell notebook has the speed, capacity and viewing area to meet all my requirements for a reasonable price.

I had to purchase a new laptop after we started having serious issues with my old HP. The back lit keyboard has been my favorite feature so far since I got the laptop to help organize and use for our wedding in October. I was able to do what I needed to on the couch and see what keys I was actually hitting without disturbing my husband while watching tv. The keys are spaced similar to my keyboard at work so the typing has been just as efficient as it is there and the numeric keypad is something I can no longer live without. We have used it for a little bit of everything so far. My nieces loved being able to watch their movies with earbuds since playing blue rays was important to us. The display screen has been great and I haven't noticed any lagging while using the internet or any other programs so far. It only takes a minute to get going after I have had it shut down for a few days but I would expect that. We have even used it to live stream basketball games and connect through the HDMI to our TV without any issues. There are plenty of USB ports for me to be able to have a mouse, portable hard drive, and flash drive in all at once. The speakers are okay, I have had laptops with better but I don't use them all that often so they suffice for what I needed. All in all I would recommend it for someone who streams and wants to use it for basic browsing of the internet and clerical work.

My computer crashed unexpectedly and I had to get a new one immediately. I had had my previous laptop since i was in college which was almost 7 years ago. This is a definite upgrade from what I had. So much thinner. Great to type on. I love the numberpad. The only downside is the touchpad is less sensative and doesnt always pick up my finger taps as clicks.

This laptop had all the features I needed: a 17" screen, an i5 processor, and lots of memory. It is a pleasure to work with.

Very nice laptop, works very well for what I need it for, primarily getting into large excel docs for work, etc.

Speed is fast, sleek design, love the light up keyboard, and windows 10 is awesome!

Got this unit for my wife when her old laptop finally gave up the ghost. She has been very happy with the unit. My only complaint with the unit, is that the track-pad buttons are touch sensitive. So, if your fingers move while you are pressing down on the click buttons, your mouse pointer will move. So, you may find that you are not clicking on what you intended to click on. This doesn't bother my wife at all, in fact she didn't notice it until I mentioned it to her. Not sure if there is a setting to disable this, as it doesn't bother my wife at all I have not researched it (she is the sole user of this machine) We've only had it for a month or so, but it has performed solidly the whole time.

Slightly larger keyboard on my last laptop, this also has Windows 10 and I prefer Windows 7.

I have used Dell products at work and home for several years and have always been pleased. Was not excited about being forced to go to Windows 10, but it really is not too bad. I especially like the backlit keyboard.

We purchased this laptop to replace a similar 6-yr old model whose graphics adapter was not functioning properly. It met all our requirements in terms of screen size, memory, capacity, and functionality. We were really happy with the older laptop and glad to find this one to replace it.

The best feature of this laptop is its large HD Screen. Ideal for home users who need a larger keyboard (for larger hands) and an HD screen with the benefits of being "semi" portable. With a 1 TB Hard Drive, offers plenty of space to store photos, etc. I would not recommend this laptop for the business traveler as it too large for a traditional case and on the heavy side.

Bought this for wife... so far so good.. hate win10...but so far drivers have been no issue/.. runs good... spec'd decent......

I loved it but the power button stop working. Best Buy was great and we exchanged it and upgraded!

This packs more than most desktops and the price can't be beat. Touchscreens don't fit on a laptop.

Works well and is a fast computer. We have them on our network and it works well.
