Bought this for my wife. Boots in 16 secs and works as advertised. Quiet, not hot, and fast. Windows 10 is not bad, but I'm used to Windows. A bit overwelhming for my wife sometimes. 12 inch screen seems about right for internet stuff without being bulky. She loves the color and likes the attached keyboard since it doesn't get lost. A backlit keyboad would be helpful when the lights are down in the evening though. Works well so far, but the free return just ran out so we will see how it goes. I'd recommend a buy from one month of usage so far.

I have bought a few inexpensive 2 in 1's or tablets as I travel alot. Doni't do it. This cute little Dell is well priced, awesome and is the best little buddy i've ever purchased. its lightweight, fully functional (unlike some other tablets), fast and has a great sound system. It was also very easy to set up on my own

It's great for a 2 in 1 , I mostly use it as a tablet, barely use the keyboard anyways. It's a very fast processor and a fair amount of GB.

Once i got the laptop i love the color and the ability to go from laptop to tablet and it was awesome but than i started getting this blue screen that would say something is wrong and needed to restart to "fix" the problem, than I downloaded a game and that made it a lot worse. It restarts without giving me a choice so id lose whatever i was doing. Than one day I came home with it in a canvas bag and put it down on the CARPET and the top of it cracked. Cheap. I tried to return it for a new one but since it was cracked i am unable too and am stuck with this. Very disappointed but it does have great battery life.

Easily hooks up to full size monitor and wireless keyboard and mouse. Makes it a great tablet, laptop or desktop. Take it with you or leave at home.

First bought this because I was away from home and I thought my iPad was dying. Began to think, even though it had only 128 GB, I could easily store important stuff on thumb drive or external, if I needed to. I could also transfer things easily with USB, because there was no DVD on this laptop. I have not been disappointed, even though my iPad is still limping along!

Exceptional Value, Great Looks, Really Like Mine!

I have the silver version of this 2n1 laptop. It's got the Pentium N3700 chip, 128GB SSD, and 4GB RAM (which I upgraded to the Crucial 8GB single stick, which doesn't cost very much and is totally worth the swap). Here are some pros and cons of this unit: Pros: Great value, love the sleek look of it, like the convertible aspect of it, nice tactile-feeling keyboard with good rebound and feel, crisp IPS display, strong speakers, SSD so much better/faster/more durable than HDD, quick start-up and restarts (because of the SSD), small and lightweight, USB 3.0 ports, full HDMI port, pop in a SD or micro SD card for more space (I put in a 128GB micro SD in a SD card adapter), windows 10 is great to have, streams most video very well and smooth, good battery life (around 8 hours, depending on type of use; can be more and can be less). Cons: some lag on certain pages, sometimes finger-gestures change from task+desktop to cortana+settings (almost intermittently), when in horizontal tablet or tent mode the touchscreen can be buggy, known Dell issue of display auto-dimming and auto-brightening and cannot fix it no matter what I try (I just have to get used to the screen brightness changes), no backlit keyboard (but not unexpected at this price point), wish I didn't have to press function+page down (wish it just had a dedicated page down button). Conclusion: I give this unit a 5-star because I just don't see anything at this price point that really runs with it (I paid "3-bills", if you know what that means). I looked at other Inspiron 11 3000 series units (slower HDD drives or if it has the i3 core chip the battery life takes a dive and the price jumps up), I looked at the Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 11.6" (heavier, bulkier, not as good chipset), etc. After evaluating so many possible choices, this particular Dell Inspiron i3000-12101SLV model has it all at such a low price point. Again, this isn't a $800 machine with i7 processor, etc. But mine is a Windows 10 + N3700 chip (very good, fairly new) + 128GB SSD + 8 GB RAM (simple, simple upgrade). And all this for "3-bills"? The screen is beautiful, it's super light, looks gorgeous, has great battery, and for word processing and Netflix and emailing and web-surfing, it's perfectly good. All the cons I listed are tolerable to me. I know I am not paying $600 or $800 for it. I honestly don't see how this has so few reviews. It has to be the best value Inspiron 11 3000 unit out there. So you have my 2 cents on it.

Nice 2 in 1 tablet, lightweight 'cause there is no hard drive and 128GB on board is good enough . I bought this for my daughter and obviously she likes the color Red.
