I´m very satisfied with this computer.. It is light, fast and beautiful.. Besides that, you can make it work as a tablet due to its perfect touch screen.. Very good battery capacity.

Great ultrabook. Took a while to tweak it. Turn off intel speedstep. This thing runs slow as dirt when it constantly thinks you only need 1/4 of the processor speed. Get rid of McAfee and dell update for advertised battery life. Needs an ssd. Like any other 5400rpm hard drive you'll sit there and wait for things to load. With these minor issues aside, this is a great laptop. Build quality is fantastic. I recommend it to anyone.

This is the 2nd laptop i purchased, the other being a Yoga which was defective. With this laptop i have had no problems and it is more than powerful enough for a college student while still being light and portable. I would highly recommend this laptop

I love the fact that I can either use my fingers or the keyboard. Its is super fast and holds all the pictures I can ever imagine taking.Great for little ones too, if you download games for them. But I don't like that fact that there is no cd drive.

Great device for everyday use like email, Internet surfing, watching videos, etc. Not great for game players ( a bit slow). IF you plan on using this sitting on your lap get a cooling pad as this unit will blow very hot air out the back onto your thighs. The "free" Windows 10 upgrade required a BIOS upgrade to stop the BSD from occurring every few hours. This unit has an HDMI out port so I connect it to my AV receiver and stream TV shows and movies to my TV. I got a 15' HDMI cable from Momoprice for <$10 that works perfectly. NOTE: there is NO Ethernet port so if you require a hardwired connection (e.g. testing a cable modem, etc.) you will need to get a usb ethernet adapter. One of the 3 USB ports is a high speed USB 3.0 port which is great for external hard drives used for backing up your data. A quick note on backup software...The built in backup apps (MS & Dell) are very slow. You can find freeware or paid backup programs that will turn a 24 full backup (~560gb) into a 2 hour backup. To sum up: Great for everyday home or school use !

The screen is great; size & weight meet my needs perfectly. A little challenging using programs & Apps but I've only had my Dell for a month so I haven't had much time to get used to it. Really like using the touch screen & look forward to customizing it. It was more than I was planning to spend on my next laptop but I think it will be worth it in the long run. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I don't think I've used it enough to rate it that high.

After having this laptop for a month now, I and pleased with its performance and battery life for most. Only complicate would be the power cord connection. This is in a easy to broke location. Only wish it was an L-shape connector to avoid the sticking out the side problem. Overall, a great laptop for the money...if you don't care for having a fast SSD.

This laptop is much lighter than my previous laptops and works well - with two exceptions. The internal microphone is not picking up my voice and I can't find a good solution. With Skype I had to downgrade to an earlier version in order for the microphone to work at all. I also had a problem with a download that kept ending prematurely and my old laptop completed it with no problem. I enjoy the option of switching to the touch screen. I found this particular laptop in the Open Box selections and am pleased with my choice.

Overall, I am pleased with this laptop. My comments are from using it for about two weeks now. Don't know if I'll have additional comments after longer term use. The good: good looking, thin, light weight, nice overall tactile and strudy feel, three USBs - one of which is powered when laptop is powered-off, I7 chip and 8gb memory quite capable for many multiple open windows, ample storage space with 1t hard disk, fast start-up when powering-on. The not so good: foggy bottom finish shows all fingerprints (if I knew I would have gone with the silver finish), loud fan noise, somewhat sluggish touch screen. The bad: slow Internet connection. I highlight this point because my 8-year-old laptop that I just left had a much, much faster Internet speed connection on the same wifi system than this new laptop. I plan to contact Dell to ask about this (driver update, laptop antenna, etc.). It's for this reason I give this laptop four instead of five stars.

The laptop looks great, descent size to carry and it's really light. The keyboard is really good, or at least I really like typing with it. The touch mouse pad is not the best. It performs good but not as I was expecting for the price of this laptop. Once again Windows 8.1 is great but really Microsoft is way behind when it comes to its apps for the tablet functionality. The picture quality is great, I really enjoy watching movies and videos on it. I barely use the tablet portion of it, as I said so far I haven';t found one good app on Microsoft's app list that I enjoyed. Overall, I am able to do my day-to-day with ease and it looks stylish so I would recommend to others

A solid 2-in-1 for college students

I have always been a dell user since I started college and after 8 years and changing 3 computers, I can safely say that they have never dissapointed me in terms of price and performance. This was the primary driver for my decision to buy this computer for my wife and the first impressions have been very promising. My wife is about to start a new semester in college and she wanted a new computer to replace her old 5.2 lb monster. This 2-in-1 has a sturdy design and all the essentials for a college student. It has excellent features and great upgrade potential thanks to the removable lower cover. 1 TB of storage is plenty for her needs. The only gripe would be the lack of a solid state drive at this price point. Best Buy provided a good deal with an additional $100 off for students which was great as well.

I bought this computer at the Pasadena Location in Texas. First of all i had an exceptional time here. The employees helped me out a lot, at first I was just looking around seeing what they had and what kind of prices they offered. Employees would approach me every few minutes to see how i was doing and i appreciated that. Once I asked for help an employee gladly helped me out, he asked me a few question to understand and see if this is really a computer suited for me as he wrote them down (which was a little weird for me) i made my decision on this one he gladly got it for me and we went to trough the checkout process. I was offered a "The Geek Squat Total Assurance Protection Plan" which sounded pretty good for what it had to provide, i went ahead and got the maximum plan which was a 3 year because I've had to use The Geek Squad before and they did me good. This computer is hand down awesome!! Its got everything i need for my video production, i make action movies with Amiibos and post them to very popular youtube channel for +500K subscribers. I totally recommend this computer to everyone looking to purchase their first computer or upgrade i've had it for a little over a week and i've had no problems with it at all!!
