Nice speed and performance. Hinges seem to be well made. It's a bit stiff to open but I'd rather that than to easy.

runs the programs i need to run well, but when playing games graphics dont always keep up as quick as i would like. and like any decent computer is on the pricey side

Light weight, has all features I wanted, can't wait to use it more when I start college.

bought this as a replacement lap top for my wife... nice and fast, sturdy manufacturing quality... would recommend this

we wanted a smaller laptop, this was a great choice with the 13inch screen and being a 2 in 1 made it a better option

I was hesitant to upgrade to a new laptop until I saw this Dell at my local bestbuy. The face recognition software that it comes with was very convenient for logging in without having to enter your password. The laptop is very solid and the 1tb hardrive is convenient. It is a little heavy to use as a tablet but I have used it in that mode on occasion and it is convenient. The three USB slots are useful. I thought I would miss the cd-rom. However, I find I have not had a need to get an external one. Pretty much everything is available on USB or direct download from the internet now.

I wanted a portable 13" laptop that was also powerful for some coding. This laptop fit my requirements well. Been using for about a month, no complains so far.

Has been great, everything I do runs smoothly - mostly used for internet (youtube, FB, streaming games) and light gaming (Civilization.) Speakers are not great but that's no big deal, always use headphones. Touch screen has been good and responsive. Laptop is fairly heavy but sturdy.

Its okay but it makes noise sometimes straight out the box. And the display isnt all that great either.

This Dell actually has a premium build quality for the price. It's fast and responsive. My only con is that the hard drive seems quite loud.

This computer has good specs, appears well-built, and I liked the size. However, I'm a bit disappointed with it overall. First, the slow (5400 rpm) hard drive is a major bottleneck. Makes the machine seem really sluggish. I thought I would just replace it, but the PC will only take the very thin model hard drive. The hybrid that I planned to use is too thick. My choices are to keep the space and put up with it being slow, or go to a reduced capacity drive. For now, I'm still using the slow big one but will probably but a smaller solid state drive in it. The other big disappointment is battery life. Even running with the recommended power plan, I don't get much more than 2 hours on a full charge. Third minor problem was the so-called color-enhancing technology. It turned out to be software called "TrueColor" which Norton and other virus software will immediately quarantine as maleware. The software will still run, but you can't uninstall it or upgrade it. I chose to remove it from quarantine and uninstall it to get rid of the problem as I wanted to go to windows 10. Seems to work just fine without it. All considered, it is an OK machine but there are probably better choices out there.

I love my laptop. I've had laptops for work but this is my first one for personal use. I was not expecting to purchase when I was "just shopping," but antivirus and Office was included so I purchased the Dell as the screen was so much brighter and clearer than the other brands. I really do appreciate that it is very light and notice very little difference in the weight of my backpack. As soon as I purchased it, I researched for a reason to return it for another but this was the best I found for the price. So glad I have it!

I had to buy a new laptop for school. They required specific specs so this one fit al my needs. I love it so far. My only reason for not giving it a 5 star rating is the price. Man was it expensive compared to other laptops I've bought. Plus the new warranty packages best buy has are super expensive which drive up the price because you think "well I need to be protected while I'm in school".

Easy to carry around campus. Flips back to become a tablet. All the power I need.

Love the 2 in 1. Very convenient and does everything we want plus more. Having several other brands of laptops and tablets this is by far the best. Should have never wasted our money on the other brands. Always been happy with Dell and they did not disappoint with this Inspiron.

I returned a Lenovo because of bloatware. I purchased this instead and have not looked back. This is an awesome computer with lots of power and NO BLOATWARE. The touch screen is very responsive and for having an actual HDD it is very slim and lightweight. The graphics are sharp and the camera I use for Skype produces very sharp video. The speakers are nice and loud for being hidden. I use the Kindle App for 8.1 and making it a tablet it works great. I would recommend this to anyone.
