I got this for my kid that needed something for productivity, some photo editing in Photoshop Elements, and loghtweight gaming. The combination of both the Ryzen 5625 processor and its integrated Radeon Vega-based 8-core IGP prove themselves more than capable at Ronlox and Minecraft, along with slightly more powerhungry titles like Terris Effect and Spongebob: Battle for Bikini Bottom. While the 8GB of included RAM is generally enough for most productivity users, I immediately upgraded the system to 16GB to take advantage of the performance increases you get with dual-channel RAM; upgrading the SSD in this laptop is also as easy as popping the bottom panel off and replacing the drive with a new one. The full high definition screen is bright and crisp, the wifi performance is excellent, the system is very reaponsive, and the keyboard, trackpad, and touchscreen are all solid. The only thing I can knock Dell on for this is not putting USB-C ports on either side of the laptop. Overall, it’s solid, and an especially good value if you can catch it on sale.

Coming from a 2016 Dell i5 laptop. I absolutely love this laptop. Was a great price, plenty of storage. Love touch screen, works well. Backlit keyboard and 2 in 1 features are a plus. I did have the wifi card issue but googled and fixed it easily. Happened twice, no more. I love that it is easy to upgrade the memory and hard drive and even replace the wifi card but have not needed. But I am confident that I can if I want to and that is awesome for this older lady. So happy with this laptop

I bought this laptop for school and it has been working wonderfully. I was looking for something under $400 and I was able to get this laptop in perfect condition, just without the accessories. Even though it is last gen it still holds up well in video games. I was also extremely happy to be able to get a laptop with upgradable memory. I upgraded it right after powering it on for the first and was even more amazed by how easy it was.

Old laptop was huge. This one is just right. Size and weighs nothing so i can carry it wherever i go. Great for school

Awesome laptop! Got it during the Best Buy anniversary sale for $550.00 and at that price point it was basically a steal! Upgraded the RAM from 8gb to 16gb, which you as the end user can do very easily. It was because of this reason, along with the capabilities to upgrade the SSD and WiFi card if need be, that I bought this laptop, no soldered RAM or SSD to hinder future proofing. The keyboard is great, it has two levels of backlighting, and the touch screen is responsive, and I absolutely adore 16:10 screens. The only caveat with the screen is that it doesn't get as bright as other laptops, 250-300 nits it seems to be, which has been fine for me mostly but a 400 nit panel would've been perfect. As for the ports, it has a wide array, two USB C ports that can double as power in as well as a display port, one HDMI port (sadly it's 1.4 not 2.0 or 2.1, so no 4k output), one USB A 3.2, an SD card slot and a headphone/microphone combo jack. All in all it's a really great laptop, with very small caveats, definitely recommend it, especially of you can get it on sale.

A solid performing laptop that’s snappy on the desktop with a very pretty screen and responsive touch input. Can even handle some older games! However, 8gb of ram is a little insulting in 2023. Luckily I had an extra 8gb stick and was able to fix that since this surprisingly has actual ram slots.

This is a very good computer for the price. We owned an older model and this has some good improvements.
