In the past few years I’ve had a couple Dell computers, most recently a desktop which was nearly dead out of the box. I was skeptical of the performance I’d find from the Dell Inspiron 14 2-in-1 Laptop I got from Tech Insider but I was willing to try again if only to verify I just got a dud last time. This is a convertible laptop, so it has a touch screen and can be folded all the way back to be a large tablet if you so desire. The keyboard is standard QWERTY with the number keys above (no 10 key) and function and volume keys above those. There’s a fingerprint reader in the top right, it's small but seems to work well. Under the hood is an AMD Ryzen 5 7530U with integrated graphics (again, standard for non-gaming laptops), 8 gigs of RAM, and a 455 gb hard drive (only 400 is usable). I was excited to find that it features two USB-C ports (one for charging), an HDMI port, a single USB-A, and an SD Card reader. The laptop overall its a metal shell in a really cool “blue violet” color, which is really just metallic light blue, and it feels hefty enough to take a little knocking around if you wanted to take it to work or airplane trips. This is a laptop for productivity, you won’t be playing many games or doing many intensive graphic design/photo editing jobs here but it handled Photoshop well enough. The keyboard feels a little cramped even for a laptop but it gets the job done. Touchpad was fine, screen is OK but in direct sunlight its hard to read even on the highest brightness settings. I found the sound output to be pretty good and fairly loud compared to a lot of laptops I’ve used before. Battery is listed as running for 12 hours, and like any computer your mileage will vary but I charged it up overnight when I got it and haven’t plugged it in again since. Its now day four and I have 43% left, which is better than I expected considering I turned up the screen brightness. Mind, that’s only pulling it out to play with for a couple hours here and there but still the battery seems solid, which is a huge point in the pros column. Overall I’m impressed with this laptop, its not going to be mistaken for cutting edge technology but it will let you do your bills, watch some movies, type up a review for Best Buy, and still have plenty of battery left to get you through a full day of work or school. If you’re looking for a well built and attractive computer to get stuff done then you may want to check this out.

Screen never gets dusty, small and compact yet also big enough, very sleek and good for school. I'm a college student and this is a lifesaver. It has a really long battery life and feels great to type on. It also has a ton of storage space which is nice.

This is a nice lightweight laptop. I really like the size and weight. However, the keys are a little more compact which makes the touch pad easily and erroneously activated when typing. But this can be overcome with practice but it is somewhat annoying. The function keys are similar to other Dell computers. Screen quality is good and battery life is very good. Everything worked as intended upon startup after purchasing. I also like the touch screen feature and the rotation of the screen to become a touch pad. Nice features. The only negative thing about this laptop is the limited size of the key panel and placement of the touch pad. But that's the compromise that is necessary for a smaller laptop. I learned to place my hand to the side away from the touch pad so my palm wouldn't actuate the touch function accidentally. This works, mostly,

Very easy to use with excellent graphics and quality. Perfect size for school and travel. Only downside is the random whirring noise but I believe with more system updates it decreases more and more. Touchscreen works perfectly! Great laptop for a great price.

I Just got this computer on a sale of 250$ off . It is a sweet machine is fast and great screen size and has the two-in-one lap top feature. It has everything I need and more that I wont probably use. I have the Microsoft Productivity software and I Love it. We also bought the same one for our son at the same time and he uses it for his private business and has his set up just how he likes. Great computer at a great price! I have had 7 Dell Computers since 1995 and have been a loyal user of Dell

This new computer/tablet is exactly what I needed. I told the team member that I needed a touch screen laptop that was small and could work like a tablet. I did not need a lot of storage because everything is on cloud storage or a portable hard drive. I just need a quick processor. Bingo, this Dell has it all and folds flat like a tablet with switchable orientation. The finger print credentials make it really easy and fast to get going as well. Plus it was deeply discounted during the back to school sale.

I needed a new laptop that could run my 1080 gopro video footage. I prefer the 14" size for ease of travel. This computer is fast enough for my needs, slim design, was priced reasonably, and even has a touchscreen. Pretty cool to have a 14" tablet and a laptop at this price. (it was on sale). Only con, if you can call it one, is the screen is highly reflective. That can easily be fixed with a screen protector. Build quality seems to be pretty sturdy.

Newly homeschooling my middle schooler and needed a reliable computer for her to work on. Not only is it a beautiful laptop but very lightweight and has the capability to turn into a tablet. This has made it easy to use and travel with. The speed is fast working and no issues so far!

Bought as a daily driver for work. Battery life is good and size of laptop is small which is good for someone constantly on the move. I wish it had more USB type a ports, but it is an easy fix with a hub.

The Dell Inspiron 14" 2-in-1 laptop offers versatility with its flexible design and a responsive touchscreen. Its performance is decent for everyday tasks, but not ideal for heavy-duty work. The display quality is good, but battery life could be better. Overall, it's a solid choice for casual users seeking flexibility.

The screen is large. The image is clear when viewing videos as well as using the camera. The start up is quick and has a reasonably long charge. It’s lightweight and I can easily slip it into my purse/work bag.

bought this for my wife for a gift. It works perfectly for what she is wanting, which is document creation, spreadsheets, internet and connected to her Cricut. She likes that it is small, light and portable.

I wanted a small laptop then was lightweight and had a low profile and it found this. Couldnt be happier. Small, thin and light. Fold ove completly to convert into a tablet too! The colors are bright and vibrant. The flow of the mouse and screen are quick and seemless. Highly recomend for a cheap small laptop!

This is a nice everyday laptop with the touch screen option that can function like a tablet as well! It’s thin and pretty fast for a laptop! You could also fold it for it to act like a tablet which is pretty cool too! Very light and thin!

I absolutely love this laptop! It is one of the best laptops I have ever owned before. Super fast, boots up like lightning, amazing screen, speakers are great. Charges fast. The only downside is the fingerprint reader can be a bit tricky at times. The color is beautiful! Very happy.

I’ve been using my Dell laptop for a few months, and it’s been a solid performer. The build quality feels durable, and it has a sleek, professional look. The display is bright and clear, and the keyboard is comfortable for long typing sessions. Performance-wise, it handles multitasking and all my daily work smoothly, though it can get a bit warm with heavy use. Battery life is decent, lasting a good chunk of the day. It’s not the lightest laptop, but it feels reliable. Overall, a great choice for work or school if you need something dependable and well-built.
