I like the double functionality (lapto/tablet) great resolution on the screen and very practical device. the only problem is that you have to manage carefully....is not "heavy duty" device....

Display is awesome but several applications arent properly scaled to 4performance is smooth only downside is the battery life

Nice laptop but I pulled out the 1TB HD, replaced it with a 1TB Samsung SSD and it is a complete different beast! A must for this laptop. The screen is nice and it's a fast performing system now.

I've been rather silly for a long time - always thought having a built in optical drive (DVD or blue ray) was a must. Nah... not so much. After talking to the sales person and looking at the external optical drives (reasonably priced), it really opened up many other alternatives for laptops and this one fit my wife's needs well. Pleased that laptops are not full of bloatware anymore - this took minutes to get operational and is very dual purpose, functioning as a nice setup for a desktop as well as with the on-the-go alternative.

I really enjoy this 2 in 1. I was unsure about getting an open box product but I'm not having any issues and the price was a great deal. The resolution is great, the speed is good...the only con would be the heat. The back of the unit in the middle can get kinda hot after watching videos but I can fix that with a lap desk/cooling unit.

Bought this laptop for a friend and she loves it. The touch features, the flipped display, good speed and easy to use.

So far this computer has been awesome, but since I don't have internet, set up has been slow. Love the touch screen that is easy to see--great resolution & size. Compared to my 6+ yr old laptop, it's really light and haven't gotten used to how thin it is. Speed is great, too. The only thing that I am worried about is that it sometimes runs really loudly, like a fish tank. Eventually I'd like to stream to my tv...so don't know how much of an annoyance that will be.

The laptop is fine, however I do not like the mouse pad much and the video driver/card recovers from an error too often. The touch screen features do not appeal to me that much, but certainly all laptops have this now. I do not understand why it takes so long to come back from a sleep state. I miss my Windows 7 HP computer and even my Windows 8 HP computer. I found them faster and more useful.

This item was recommended because it supposed to have what I needed to run the software for my Tax business. I have had some issues with it that have required me to run into Geek Squad frequently. I have not been able to use the Dell support as part of my problem has been with the wifi connection. It keeps dropping off.. Need to make another run into Geek Sqad.

The product works great. Very fast. Back lite keyboard makes keys very easy to see. Screen size is great and flips to a tablet very easy. The ram is good. Very good laptop for the price. The wireless connection works well at far distances and seems to be built very well. I like this laptop so much I bought one for each of my three children.

I have been in the market for a new laptop for awhile now and with much research going this Dell Inspiron. I love it. I am a photographer and needed this laptop to be able to handle my editing software. This does that perfectly. I did have the hard drive removed and added a solid state drive to bring up my editing software faster and will use that hard drive as an external one. I am very happy with my purchase.

Have it for few weeks. I find I do not use the tablet like I thought. Having problems adjusting the mouse, it runs all over the screen and the left button skips all the time. Will most likely take it in for repair. The screen is very crisp. I thought speed would be better than it is for gaming but not bad. Over all a nice machine so far.

Easy to use and practical for seniors...two fingers can enlarge the screen image to any size you need for legibility.

I really enjoy the 4k screen. It's fresh and the sleek look and feel. Easy to carry around. Very satisfied.

At first power-on, the unit had some problems, but after downloading the latest updates for WINDOwS10 and latest drivers from Dell, the computer is now operating flawlessly. Very fast with a responsive touch screen and a gorgeous display. The keyboard has a nice feel to it although I do miss a separate numeric keypad. Overall I am extremely satisfied with this machine.

Performance exceeded my expectations and the prices is reasonable

I've had my laptop a couple of months. Very light use. I've only used it a few times and mainly to play solitare. It seems ok, but it has locked up on me a couple of times after playing solitaire for long periods. And it has told me a few times that the graphics something crashed and recovered. This past week, Bluetooth stopped working conveniently not long after I could completely return the computer, so I'm stuck with it. It won't detect any other blue tooth device. I remember having some issues when I first used it, but it eventually worked. Now, it won't do anything and I've checked all the settings I can check. I have an immediate family member that is sick that I have to go check on for a couple of weeks, so I don't have the time to deal with this issue at the moment. Hopefully this can be fixed. Other than that, the computer seems ok. Could be faster in my opinion, so if you can afford it, get the 16gb instead of 8. Especially if you want to to play games. If it can't even handle the solitare suite that came with the computer, I don't know what it would do with more complex games. Or maybe memory is not even the issue. Maybe it's just not a great computer, but I don't have anything to compare and am not well versed in computers.

I love the size of the screen, the touch display, and the quality of the display. However, I've had a problem when the computer is running on battery power at about an hour. The picture starts jumping sideways. I've already sent it in to be fixed once and the problem persists.

Very fast very convenient. The tablet capability is great.
