Needed a new laptop as mine was 9 years old and getting twitchy. Salesman showed me this one and it is an excellent value: fast, light and easy to navigate.

This Dell may be the best Dell has made in a long time. Fast, responsive, brilliant graphics, Intel core I7, 16 GB memory. Back light keyboard is a real plus, Touch screen truly effective. 1 TB drive big enough for the most dedicated photo collector. While not a true gamer, it supports gaming very well for the causal gamer. Somewhat expensive, but if you want it all buy this unit.

The Dell Inspiron is good-looking and fast. The on/off button is a little too close to the front edge and sometimes is accidentally activated when opening or closing the case. There is only one USB port which is inadequate. But the processor, memory and all the tech stuff, added to the good looks and fun of a touch screen make this a great buy

Bought this computer to replace a failing laptop. The performance has been great. Just getting used to Windows 10, so cannot really compare things, but it seem pretty straight forward. I can't wait to load photo editing software and give this computer a challenge. The backlit keyboard has been a delight, did not know what I have been missing. The 17 inch screen is big, but I usually use it on a desk, but that might be a factor to some. So far it has met and exceeded my expectations.

This laptop had the features I was looking for: a large screen and lots of memory. It was also easy to set up.

The battery is the only weak point, it lasts around 6 hours for video. My laptop never lags; I typically run: Word, Chrome with 6 tabs, Adobe Reader, and Spotify all at the same time. The touch screen makes scrolling and quick clicks a breeze. The laptop never overheats, maybe because of the metal body which transfers heat quickly. The sound quality is pretty decent. It doesn't have that many ports, but it's not like I need 6 different usb ports + wireless is where things are shifting. I would say this laptop is more for school & work, but it does pack a modest Nvidia card so it can also play games at low settings.

I got this to begin a new recording setup. It is doing fine for what I want it to do. Nice screen, fast enough, it all works, so I like it. I added an SSD internally for OS and it helped quite a bit. I can't get my face in front of it fast enough sometimes, It says it's looking for me. Just wish it had a couple more USB or firewire, but I can get by.

i bought this laptop from best buy with highest specifications 1-7 processor 16 GB ram and 1 TB hard disk with 2 in 1 feature and powerful graphic card fro Nvida in the hope that I will be good to go but I observe it is not as fast as it should be because it does not have SSD on it. other my major concern is network card is not built in you have to buy separately as usb device also two usb ports 3.0 are not enough I am considering buying separate usb hub to support my other peripherals. surprisingly dell did not pre installed some software on it like Roxio dvd burner and some other basic soft wares that were used to be part of dell system. warranty status is expiring in one month from the date of buying as my laptop keeps reminding me so I have to call dell or best buy to fix the problem. overall look and design is good . when buying take in to considerations above facts.

I am so impressed by this laptop. It has everything I need! The screen is nice and big and the colors are clear and bright. I do some work at home and personal things on my computer and have absolutely no problems. It switches back and forth between programs with ease. I have no complaints about this at all, this is the best laptop I have owned!

Great feeling keyboard, sharp display, light weight are pluses. Overall do like the laptop. On/off switch in wrong place. Have turned off the laptop several times when moving laptop. The home key is in usual location compared to past laptops.

I bought this computer for my elderly friend, she loves it, Feels sturdy, large screen is a plus. Very quick as well. I would definitely recommend this. Its not a gaming computer but will be able to handle games as well, just don't expect high end performance graphics wise, not really meant for that.

So far there were no problems with this laptop. Set up took some time but this is common for any Windows machine. 16 Gb of memory may satisfy anyone. Discrete video card definitely a plus. Love the touch screen.

This is the best laptop I believe I have ever had. It's fast and very easily configured. The touch screen is great, never thought I would like a touch screen. I do like the Dell laptop!

Exceptional laptop, the face recognition sensor is fantastic. The screen size is the biggest differential. DELL support is one of the best I know, I recommend everyone interested in a beautiful and powerful machine !!!

What a great laptop! Plenty of RAM & processing speed! No problem running multiple apps and lots of browser tabs; keeps on running quickly. The touchscreen is very responsive and the laptop is rock solid. It's made of metal so super strong, the only trade-off is that it's a little heavier but definitely worth it. I have a Lenovo Yoga 2 that's made of plastic and it flexes all of the time making the mouse hard to use.

This laptop is great! Tablet mode, tent style, and traditional style all work seamlessly. Very responsive touchscreen. FYI: There is no DVD/CD drive and no Ethernet port on this laptop.

Love this new Dell laptop. It's fast, the touch screen is great, with a big screen, which makes it easier on the eyes for those big spreadsheets and graphics; however, the power button is really easy to hit. It's right on the corner where you would typically grab your computer, and it has caused me headaches on more than one occasion.

I thoroughly researched this product before hand and I have to say I am not disappointed. The only draw back is I feel like the screen could be brighter. I love that the laptop has an empty slot for an SSD because it gave me the option to have one installed and still be able to utilize the HDD as storage. This laptop is lightening quick now that the OS is running off of the SSD and you don't have to break the bank and get a high GB SSD, because you'll still have the 1 TB HDD storage.

My new Dell - Inspiron 2-in-1 with a 17.3" Touch-Screen and Intel Core i7 - 16GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce 940MX - 1TB Hard Drive is super fast and has more than enough memory.

Great laptop for regular use. It is big so it's a bit heavy. But if you aren't planning to use it as a portable machine as much it is great. The screen is nice and big. I would recommend switching the hard drive to a Solid State drive. I use it for Architectural work sometimes. It runs Revit and Autocad just fine.
