Great features. Intel core i7 processor with 16GB memory is great. I like the large screen and graphics quality. Fingerprint reader feature is also great. The only thing is that difficult to find hard case and also laptop bag for this.

I’m still getting to know it. In some ways, it’s faster than my old Dell studio. In other ways, it’s . . . not. If weight is an issue for you, try to find the 15in. This thing is a behemoth! To be fair, I haven’t unlocked all its potential. I’m not a gamer so the Xbox stuff is wasted on me. I haven’t need to use it in tablet mode yet, but the touchscreen capability is available even in laptop mode. I nearly triggered it while I was using powerpoint. Gimp (photo editing) and Netflix work great! If you’re looking for a behemoth laptop for Netflix and photo-fix, then this will meet your needs. Of course, higher screen resolution would be great, but for the money, 1920x1080, 127ppi is pretty good. Especially considering that it’s a touchscreen 2-1. The other negatives you should know about are, firstly, it’s not easy to open. That’s not to say it’s a hassle to open, but it’s not as simple as it should be. And the keyboard could use some work. The delete key is too small. Also, I don’t like that there’s no real protection for the keyboard if you use it in tablet mode. You’ll have to rig something up yourself for that. But, honestly, if you want something better, be prepared to shell out a few hundred more dollars (or pounds, or euros).

Very fast computer and big screen i like the way the keys light up

Bought this for a graduation gift. It was well received but the only complaint I’d that it will not run any Sims games probably because of Windows 10(or that is what we found when we went troubleshooting on the internet)

replaced my 3 year old Dell laptop with this one. Needed more speed for graphics programs Illustrator and Photoshop. This computer is definitely up to the task. I can run both programs at the same time and handle very large files. Love the finger print reader for logging in! And the backlit keyboard Not too heavy and the big screen is nice!

This is a great responsive laptop. I definitely recommend this product if you need a larger screen and a full keyboard. The processor power and random access memory is plenty sufficient to run The screen access technology I use as a blind person without being sluggish. I also really like the fingerprint reader for on locking the computer.

I have had this laptop for over a year and I have yet to have an issue with it. It is lightning fast and multitasking is a breeze. I have no regrets making this purchase. I can confidently say, in a few years when it's time to upgrade, I will be getting another Dell laptop.

I was disappointed when I realized I only had 2 USB ports and no CD Drive. But, I am getting use to what I have. I haven't had the Laptop too long. Just about a month. I performs satisfactorily.

I like very much everything about the laptop. The only main lack is its hard drive, which is HDD and not SSD, This was acceptable for me because the price was lower and I needed 1 TB hard with core i7 for the cpu. There are some small issues. First, it is not easy to open the lid. I believe the reason is bc the screen is going to open more than 180 degree and be used as a stand in tablet mode. But still they need to come with an idea to remove this issue. The second issue is the touch sometimes does not work as accurate as I expect and I should redo touching couple times to perform my command. I have never had touch laptop before so, I do not know if it is same for all touch laptop or not. And the last issue is it seems the cooling fan is not enough when I run heavy simulations. So, I have to use a cool pad these times. But the bottom line is I really enjoy the laptop bc of the size of screen, the screen resolution, its touch capability in general, the stylish shape, the power of cpu and integrated graphic drive, and its high volume hard drive and finally its decent price.

Much better pc replacement than the Chromebook I road tested briefly prior to buying this 2in1. Big screen (yeah, middle-aged eyes) but so much less weight (and cash) than a standard laptop this size. No disrepect intended to the Chromebook... Android OS just isn't up to many of the tasks I have to complete every day.

It started giving me issues with the operating system. Best Buy tried to repair three (3) times, but it still was not operating like it should. I bought this for myself since I gave my son my laptop. I received an awesome deal on it and loved the fact that the keys were black which made it better to see the letters and love the bigger screen. Unfortunately, since Best Buy could not fix it and could not find another one like it anywhere in the company, I had to upgrade to the new version and put out more money than anticipated; especially, after the great price I received on the laptop.

This laptop is really nice and I’ve only had it for a few days, so you’d think everything would be working perfectly! However, the audio/sound (whether you’ve got headphones in or not) crackles on and off. I tried almost all of the solutions people have shared on forums, and I even had a Dell tech assistant access my computer and try to resolve the issue, but nothing has worked out so far. Since I like the laptop so much, I’m gonna exchange it for a new one to see if the problem persists. If not for this defect, I would’ve rated it 5 stars.

17'' dell laptop all great except battery life, battery only lasts few hrs. No way last 6hrs as stated. Other than battery life, everything works well. Dell makes great laptops

Needs a better processor and an SSD of the same capacity or at least a better graphics card for the price that this is. But still a really fast PC.

I bought this laptop to replace my HP elitebook from 2008. It was to small and very heavy but a work horse of a laptop. This Dell 7786 is fantastic! I did update it with more ram (32GB) and replaced the 1TB HDD with a 1TB SSD before powering it on for the first time. It boots lightning fast and doesn't hesitate with anything! I use 3 27 inch screens for work and the laptop does not complain about the multiple monitors due to the nice NVIDIA graphics card. I bought two of the Dell D6000 docking stations (one for home one for the office) and they work great with the USB C plug. I would definitely recommend this laptop for someone looking for a laptop with good internals capable of multi tasking and having 5 million chrome tabs open.

Using this for school and projects I do for work. It’s not bad for the amount of money spent. Definitely update your drivers before downloading any apps or programs.

Touchscreen. Fingerprint reader. 2 in 1. I7 Intel processor. 17" widescreen. More features than I could ever ask for in a laptop. My husband has a smaller screen version and doubted the 17" widescreen 2 in 1 even existed. He was in awe when he saw this model...and so was I. Multi-tasking is super fast...fingerprint reader works 100% better than my HP work laptop. Hasn't overheated once yet. The only downside is that the case is metal and scratches easily. My heart sank when I found two gouges on the backside of the monitor. Bought a neoprene laptop sleeve to protect my new investment. Very happy I found it at Bestbuy for sure! Shipping was super fast and price was awesome. Couldn't be happier with my purchase.
