I bought 2 of these for a specific purpose in my job. They both worked just fine out of the box and set up way quick and easy. A thing to note is that I don't feel like Dell puts a lot of junk software on their machines. It asked to install some free software a number of times but you can say no. I removed a couple usless app tags under the star menu and machine was pretty clean besides the trial version of virus software that can be uninstalled with little troble. For the price, these were nice and fast out of the box. In the future, I will seek this type of PC for the purpose I used the others and best buy is a quick convenient place to get them

I ended up grabbing one of these in an open box for $150 less, supposedly beat up & missing pieces, but upon opening & inspecting, it was perfect, just had fingerprints everywhere & wasn't missing anything. That in itself doesn't swing this review one way or the other, because I ended up going back & getting another one at the regular price. The i3 is fast enough for 99% of the people who go to best buy for a computer. Spec wise, this machine is really good and can even do some gaming if need be, but I wouldn't reccommend it for that. Your Office garbage, Internet, and email, and your smaller games (not like WoW or whatever the kids are playing these days). The big reason for the 5 stars was price ($349), power, and the impressive lack of typical Window PC bloatware. Remember people, Windows 10 comes with its own anti-virus & anti-malware garbage, so you don't need to waste money on the McWhatever & Norton stuff, I don't care what Geek Squad tells you. Even the best anti-virus software can't save you & the Windows stuff is 95% as good at a minimum. If you are afraid of malware & viruses, you don't buy a Windows machine then, that's what Linux & OS X are for.

As usual, Dell provides a solid if not flashy computer that fits my needs perfectly and Best Buy had a decent price on it...cheaper than the Dell web site. I make my living with this machine and it must be reliable. So far, no issues. Setup was easy. Only complaint was bloatware loaded on the machine but no problems deleting programs I didn't need or want.

Great computer for the price. Fits our needs perfectly and does all we need and then some. Very quick, painless set up, everything worked as expected and as it should.

I'm pleasantly surprised by this i3-based Dell! I replaced an iMac that was the latest in more than two decades of Apple desktops in my home, and I have to say how much I've enjoyed Windows 10, the proprietary Dell software, and the PC overall. It's very quiet and it powers up extremely fast (I maxed out the memory to 16GB but it was speedy starting up eve before I did that). I have a growing household, so the fact that I can get a couple of these with maxed out memory and some additional software for the price of one refurbished iMac makes this new Dell owner very happy.

Good PC. Best processor, RAM and hard drive for the price. Also provides the upgradability for the future. PC also runs really fast.

Great computer. It is fast and satisfies the needs of any student looking for a computer for school, while not wanting to spend so much money. There is no lag and it has plenty of storage for all of your needs.

I purchased this tower for my grandparents PC, the are very pleased with the performance and how easy it was to switch out with there previous tower.

I don't like to give computers a review until I have been using them for a while. I bought this computer last year and I love it. It was easy to set up originally and since that time it has been operating beautifully. I use it consistently for various applications. It's speed is very good and it rarely gets jammed up, so that I need to restart it.

After our eight year old Dell tower finally bit the dust it was time for a replacement. After checking reviews on this model at Best Buy, and also a great sale price, decided to go for it and couldn't be more happy with the purchase. This Dell is super fast, quiet, and half the size of our old tower. Meets all our needs, mostly internet surfing, videos, email, etc.

this Dell - Inspiron 3650 Desktop has tons of storage. i was able to transfer all my files from my old computer and still have 3/4 of a terabyte left. there is no way I could ever fill up the storage. I like windows 10 which was loaded on this computer. It's a great upgrade from my old computer.

I needed a desktop in a pinch since my 9 year old one bit the dust and I didn't want to spend too much since I plan on buying a Mac next year. After reading the reviews and checking out the specs, I saw this one was on sale. Very easy setup with DELL and Windows 10 rocks! It's a lot faster than my older 4GB RAM desktop (8GB RAM in this one).

Dell reliability in a small package. An i3 with 8gb of ram will handle most office needs. Only concern is replacement of its power supply if needed in the future. PS form factor non standard and part may only be only available from Dell.

Bought this computer for my Dad for Christmas; Set it up for him and he is enjoying it. It is fast and easy to use. There doesn't seem to be a lot of bloatware on it to get you bogged down or confused on where to start or where to go. It was a great computer for my Dad and I got it at a great price as well.

This new computer has been trouble-free, fast for my purposes and very easy to work with. It has plenty of storage space, good memory and was my choice to replace my older Dell desk top. I am solidly in the Dell camp and quite pleased with this latest addition.

This Dell pc is easy to set up and connected to my old monitor. It worked well over 1 month already. I was unhappy that Windows10 has no DVD driver and MS wants $15 to buy one! So I took one star away and is looking around for a free VLC player now ...

I bought this for my dad and was not expecting much, but found that it was actually a pretty decent machine. It's pretty quiet and performance was fine. There was not a lot of bloatware preinstalled, which I appreciated since I only had to uninstall a few things before proceeding. Two things to note: 1. Even though the product description does not mention it, it DOES have a VGA port. 2. The DVD drive is a laptop style where you have to clip the disc onto the spindle, so kids or older people with dexterity issues may have a harder time using discs. Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend this to someone who needs a cheap Windows machine, even though I do not use Windows myself.

Only complaint would be initial glitch with Windows 10. I was unable to log in after being able to to so for first week. Brought back to Best Buy and they fixed immediately. Solid PC for every day use. Performs fast for browsing, light gaming and opening multiple browsers.
