Choose the latest generation intel i3 (6th generation) 8GB for basic home word processing and non complex excel spreadsheet processing. Not to be used for gaming. Good basic PC for home use.

Computer was a bargain for the price and the I3 processor is more than adequate speed-wise. Plenty of memory ~ RAM & hard drive. My primary computer is a laptop, but this is an great computer for my son and his friends to use for homework or just surfing the net.

This computer does everything I hoped it would (so far). I have only had it for 6 weeks. We do not play games or download a bunch of different items. We use the internet, do financial work, church work and reports, organize pictures etc. It is fast, has plenty of space and was easy to adjust to when we got it. Windows 10 does OK, but I could do without the adds (welcome to the future). It seems to be a little flakey when identifying what I have plugged into the USB drives,(flash drive or camera etc.) That ha not caused me any problems so far. The week after I bought it, Best Buy had it on sale for $50.00 less. I went in and they gave me a credit for the money. I also opened a BB Visa card and got $75.00 in rewards, So I am quite happy about the final price. Having to use the rewards within 2 months seems a bit unreasonable. Overall, a very good experience, thus far.

Great basic computer. Fast and very easy to navigate.

This is a very good PC at a reasonable price. With only an i3 processor, it's definitely not a hotrod. On the other hand, it has 8 gig of memory right out of the box. Some of it's bigger and faster cousins only come with 4 gig, which doesn't give Windows 10 room to breathe. This one is ready to go. On the down side, the flimsy laptop style optical drive doesn't inspire confidence. I'm almost afraid to use it for fear of breaking it. I'm giving it 5 stars in spite of the flimsy drive because it's unreasonable to expect heavy duty equipment at a lightweight price. It also comes with an impressive amount of bloatware. Between Microsoft updates, McAfee scans and Dell bloatware updates, it sometimes takes 10 minutes for it to settle down after booting up. The bloatware will go as soon as it loses its "new car" smell.

Solid computer that does what I need it to do. It handles my email, surfing, and work, including some sizeable presentations without issue. Good desktop computer for getting work done and handling all the grown-up needs. It probably wouldn't do great with hardcore gaming, but I have other things to keep me busy.

This computer is very nice and the speed is not bad for an i3 processor it has a good amount of memory and a large hard drive which makes it a great value. I bought this for a friend and she has been very happy with it.

Excellent speed. All functions (networking, etc.) work as expected. The only irritating features come from Windows 10. In a few respects, this is a step backwards from XP. The mail application is arcane. The start bar is irritating. It forces icons to view that I don't want to see, like the apps. Most worrisome is the automatic updating. For sure, some of these updates will up the system once you get it running the way you like.

Perfect for what we needed. Plenty of memory. Such an improvement of speed from what my husband currently was using. It's nice that it is small and light as well.

This has been a sturdy and efficient machine for what I'm using it for. It's quick, has been functioning easily out of the box and hasn't given me any issues at all. Great price for a quality basic machine.

My wife spent too much time waiting for our old computer to boot up and the new Dell desktop is at least 10 times faster with a Solid State Memory for the boot up and a TB on the regular drive for storing all her work, downloads and emails We were also glad to move up to Windows 10 with our purchase. We actually saved money from Best Buy instead of purchasing directly from Dell.

Needed to find a relatively inexpensive replacement computer for my father for everyday use. Easy setup, runs quiet and fast! It has more then enough ports to hook up whatever you need. Highly Recommended!

Computer was an upgrade from my last Dell Inspiron. But one thing I noticed when setting it up was that my older Dell had an extra USB port :( I also noticed afterward that it only has one disc drive and it doesn't look like another can be added. My son informed me that it's probably because everything is digitally downloaded and there's less need for 2 CD/DVD drives. Aside from those two items, it's a great computer. Runs fast and is more compact and lighter than my older Dell. Just having to get used to using Windows 10, from 7 on the old one, and the programs I wish 10 had kept from 7 instead of changing (like the Photos).

Good basic quick computer for basic business tasks and network connectivity. It's got a smaller chasis - not quite a SFF machine but smaller than a traditional tower, and it weighs virtually nothing. Downgrade to Windows 7 is a snap with no Boot-It or Partiton Magic required, and it was a hundred bucks cheaper than the same configuration on Dell's site. Only issue is overall build quality. It's basically a laptop in a desktop chasis and you can get a laptop with the same specs and a monitor built in for the same or lower price. Also, the DVD drive is flimsy and will likely break or fail if you use it with any regularity.

This computer is fast! I upgraded from an old HP with Windows 7 and a slower processor and WOW what a difference. Well worth the price. Which was great at Best Buy. No problems at all.

Works flawlessly. Fast and quiet. Purchased 23" Dell monitor to go with it. Only complaint/preference would be that I wished the cd drive was horizontal instead of vertical.

This computer is plenty large enough for all the data you might want to save and/or store with a 1-TB harddrive. It was on sale at Best Buy in Lady Lake, FL for a good price. I prefer a desktop to a laptop. If you want a desktop, this one is a great choice!
