Finally became time to upgrade from Windows XP. There was limited brand choice for desktop computers, but Dell was acceptable. Would have like to have gotten a better price.

This os is hard to follow, thought it would be better to get into the next operating system.......probably go to apple for next one. The connections were easy- symbol/color codes.

DVD drive operates occasionally. Dell service rep was ONLY interested in selling me a tech package, was VERY insistent. When I told him I was NOT going to do it, he managed to fix the drive. Otherwise, computer working fine

My third Dell computer. Previous two gave excellent service but this one tends to freeze up occasionally and is not as user friendly as the others. It also has a very cheaply made optical reader.

The printer is great and so is the computer but it took over $250.00 fees to help transfer files that took 4 days and get to the point where we could use our computer and printer.

Ridiculously cheap, vertical CD drive. Unit is so light and cheap it moves when pushing in a USB stick. Returned it for a full refund.

Seems to be working okay. If only Frontier Communications were providing adequate internet service it would be easier to tell..

After I bought the computer, I had issues with the internet security programs being all internet downloading instead of disk downloading. This is unsatisfactory to me because of putting an unprotected computer on the internet. I do not feel comfortable with this. When talking with the Best Buy staff about this, no one came up with the idea of they can install it for me (the Geek Squad), scan the computer afterwards , and remove any viruses that got into the computer. They should have come up with this concept and informed me. One employee was so rude, he didn't let me finish what I was saying before responding, so he came up with responses that had nothing to do with what I was trying to say. This happened multiple times when I tried to start over. He even ended up dictating what I should do. This is unsatisfactory customer service. Since I wasn't being treated like a customer, I stopped being a customer. I returned the computer, the monitor, the power strip (surge protector), and the internet security program. The store lost over $500 dollars in sales because of poor customer service. If I decide to buy a computer in the future, I'll look at buying from Staples just to avoid the lousy customer service. Of course I'll keep an open mind about it. I don't want to cut off my nose to spite my face. If I come back, it will be because of a good price rather than Best Buy has good customer service. That one employee gave your store a bad name.

Bought early 2017. During the warranty the motherboard failed so I had to send it to Dell for service. Now just past the warranty and it isn't working properly. Tried many things but nothing worked. Dell tech support refused to give me any help over the phone unless I paid for it. I'll never buy another Dell product. Would give 0 stars if I could.

I needed to update my home office. This computer had all the things I needed in order to complete my work from home. Our IT guy went online and picked out all the things I needed to make the desktop complete, including monitor, wireless mouse, and security package. I am very happy with what I have and will return to your store for any future hardware or software needs.

This PC is a good home PC. the only thing i don't like about it is the Ram(DDR3L). Low voltage Ram is harder to find and you pay more.

Apart from the one thing I could not overlook, it worked well, when it wasn't frozen! It would freeze multiple times throughout the day even in sleep mode. The power button would not work and it repeatedly had to be restarted by holding the button down. I returned it, got a Lenovo brand and am very happy with that!
