I bought this computer for my wife to work with our budget in Excel and surf a bit. It is what you can expect from a computer in this price range. Give it four stars. Will do just fine for working with the World and Excel. In short, a computer for basic use. Cons: Equipped with Windows 8.1, which does not make any one happy. Fairly slow processor. My old Dell blew up so what did I do? Yep, bought another Dell. Got this one as an open box guaranteed to work by the Geek Squad shipped free. Have had it several weeks now. Yeah, it has Windows 8, which was created by the devil, but 8.1 makes it ALMOST like 7. No, I'm not a gamer but this is superb for surfing the net, creating documents, storing photos, doing your taxes, and backing up your smart phone. It's wifi so you can put it anywhere in the house or office. If you love a laptop get one. If you love a desktop this is a-ok in my book!

i love my new computer. it works great. It's easy to use and user friendly. Small and compact. I love the wireless connections.

runs good when you know what your doing . fast and simpal to use desk is set up for ezay operation .still trying to learn how to move around and use all the different workings of this PC . iam leaning something new or new way to web sites. I also likethe help I can get on line on how to do stuff . iam not very good whit PC's but iam doing ok for a noob

This machine was purchased for the kids -- general web browsing, MS Office, Google Docs, and so on. It's not a high-powered machine, but it's quiet, reasonably quick, and the price was outstanding. It's perfect for their needs.

A great computer for new users. Plug and play set up. Plenty fast for casual game play and lots of memory as well.

Had a Dell prior in which was running Vista and time for an upgrade. Just needed a basic computer to surf net/email. Word processing and applications. Works great but hate the windows 8.1. Love Windows 7, downloaded the windows shell and it is a great third party free program that converts back to the start button. This computer has been in use for 2 months and working well so far. Remember to create recovery discs once opening. This is food for a bare computer, that is not used for video editing, gaming big games. Will do what it needs to do for things that are not heavy use of RAM, graphics and space.

This compact computer packs a punch for the price. Needed to learn the new windows 8, simple to navigate and recommended for the whole house to use. Options are nice.

I like this computer though it is a bit larger than I expected. I am not overly fond of Windows 8.1 but that's not the computer's fault, I'm learning the new system. The best thing is that is has all of the HDMI and USB plugs I needed to hook it to my other devices. It is a wonderful addition to my entertainment system.

This was another laptop purchased for business purposes and this will be my 4th dell purchase in 5 years. Most have been for employees with one being my own. Dell support, in conjunction with geek squad is a solid platform. Dells seem to take some punishment and keep going. Most of the systems I have bought have been for traveling managers. No complaints here or from any of my team. Plus you can't beat the price. Great for general use.

Bought this for my daughter to start learning how to work on and around a computer super cheap so if she breaks it, meh we can fix it, this is good for folks who want to check e-mail, facebook, and watch YouTube videos, as well as flash games

I was just browsing computers, not intending to purchase, when I came across this model. The price caught me first. I couldn't believe it was true. I figured it was for the monitor not the hard drive. When I learned it was indeed the price, I snatched it up. This computer has exceeded my expectations for a computer of its price. It's fast has plenty of space and has wireless capabilities. I love it.

I bought this computer as a Christmas present for my wife. This is the second dell computer that I own and I am very pleased with it. It is half the size of my older dell computer and fits perfectly in the little office we have in our house. I am very happy with this product and I wouldn't use any other brand.

This desktop PC's size is its best feature - it's about half the size of my previous Dell, and the price was right at $250. Unfortunately, it came pre-loaded with Windows 8.1 software, which to me is not user-friendly. I've had the computer for a month, and I've gotten used to its operating system, but if I could bring back Windows 7, I would!
