We needed a basic model in our office and this works perfectly. It doesn’t have a lot of bells and whistles - but we didn’t need them anyway. It’s been very reliable. We run Office, Quickbooks and a couple of small drafting programs on it without any issues. It’s a great fit for what we needed.

The machine is a good size and great value. It has all the features one needs.

This was less expensive than the last Dell desktop I bought but seems similar in terms of features. There are fewer inputs but it hasn't been a problem so far. It includes Windows 10 which I'm still getting used to. My last Dell had Windows 7. I haven't explored everything it can do yet. It is a little smaller and lighter than my previous computer which was an XPS-8500.

Not for gaming, but great for the office. Also, not for intensive graphics, but ideal for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, etc. Suitable RAM and hard drive capacity. Lots of USB ports. HDMI (and VGA) video, too. Includes Microsoft Windows 10 Home Premium OS.

Set up was easy. The box had a lot less bloatware than previous computers.

After explaining my needs - the Best Buy rep offered this unit up. Sorry I opted for an i5 processor - way too slow for my needs. This machine also has a funky on/off - I've created a workaround, but I fear the power supply is what will go out first. Also not crazy about the CD tray, but that is the least of my issues. I wouldn't buy this one again, but it works well enough to not take back - i'm past my return window anyway.

setup was very easy. the computer is very quite. It is also very fast

I like this unit now that it is up and working. However, I ran into problems during setup. I discovered that my Internet connection over 1GB wired Ethernet was 2-5Mbps. After hours of testing, I narrowed it down to two pre-installed services - Rivet Dynamic Bandwidth Management (CloudBees, Inc) and SmartByte Network Service (Rivet Networks). With these disabled, my Internet download speed is 175Mbps. I'm a retired S/W engineer with over 45 years experience and it took me a good deal of time to debug this and I still don't know why these caused the problem with this machine on my network. Given that uncertainty, I would be reluctant to recommend this to a friend.

Just replaced my 10 year old Dell with another similar model. The PC was reasonable and functions great especially with the new operating system.

Fast enough, memory enough. Works fine. Just what I needed.

My PC had issues. Was suggested it's time for a new PC. 8 years old. This one fit my needs. The Geek Squad did the data transfer. Just had to learn the changes between the Win10's. Would be nice if the had more USB ports to hook into.

Great backup for PC and great for data recovery I really valued this when my PC crashed as I had all my data stored on the back up drive which prevented a MAJOR headache PLUS I had copied several program installation disks to the back up and WOW was that handy

My old laptop was over 6 years old and I was afraid it would crash any day. I wanted a desktop this time. I researched and felt Dell was the better choice for me. Everything is faster and I have plenty of space to store. Great decision and a great desktop.

It set up easily and it runs fine for me. A good buy.

This is a powerful web browser. If you're doing editing, it works as a good small editor for someone that isn't spending all day. It is slower than expected, especially for the processor, but reasonable for the price and size. It is very underpowered, and small, so upgrades are difficult and limited.

I like this unit very much. It's the first Dell I've ever purchased and am pleasantly surprised by it. I hope it last a lot longer then my last "name brand computer" (only 4 Years)

I don’tcare for all the Dell stuff in the menu. Why on earth in 2018 would a mfr put a 2.4 ghz WiFi with no option for 5 ghz. I had to buy a usb dongle to get 5 ghz. It does have plenty of ram. Also I use malware bytes for anti virus. Why does mcafee keep popping up? I would recommend it wth reservations.

I was replacing an old desktop PC, wanted the same sturdy, long lasting and reliable thing. I had done my homework online. Went to Best Buy in Portland, Maine, because I support bricks and mortar stores and their employees.
