Smaller case but it does have good air movement to keep it cool. worked right out of the box. Had the Geek Squad transfer all data from my old PC to new so I wasn't down very long. Love it so far and it has been just over a month. Would recommend it and the Geek Squad.

Solid State drive is great. Unfortunately 256 gb is just not enough. My fault. Should have asked more questions and not assume there was also a 1 Tb hdd.

Had a HP for just a few years and it quit on me. Was looking for something not too pricey or complicated. Had it almost a month and does everything I need it to at a great price. Would buy again (hopefully not too soon though).

Works great and fast! Very reliable. Good for games too!

This PC has most of the functionality that the average user will be looking for. Fast boot times with the SSD. The USB port arrangement is the one area that could use some help. All 4 on the back are USB 2.0 and the only 2 on the front are USB 3.0, with no USB Type C port at all. Many people have a little wireless USB receiver for their mouse and/or keyboard, and sometimes having it in front vs. in back can make a difference in reception, but now you're using up a fast 3.0 port for your mouse/keyboard, when you really want both of them available for your external hard drives and flash drives. Also, many people have their PC in a cubby with a door closed in front of it, which you really can't do if you've got a flash drive or USB cable from your external hard drive sticking out 2" - 3" in front of the tower. There's space to the left of the ethernet port for 2 more USB ports, and plenty of room on the front of the case, that Dell could have had a 4/2 setup in back and a 2/2 setup in front, plus a USB Type C port somewhere. Motherboards certainly support it now and their manufacturing cost (at the volume they produce them) would have been virtually the same.

Ok as the title said. My 82 year old mother does facebook only that and aol (cough). Her old pc had died and she wanted a new one. I got this because it had everything she really needed and I felt it was a good price. It has been working good, the pc side that is.

I needed a new tower that was very easy for an older person to use. The price was right and the machine is just what I needed. It came with very easy to load features aND MADE THINGS SO SIMPLE FOR MY NEEDS. The staff were very helpful and made me feel that my business was wanted.

This my first Dell computer. Was really concerned that it would not perform as well as the HP’s I have owned in the past. Well I am pleased to say that I am very happy with this unit. It has met and exceeded beyond what I had expected. Great computer. Thank you Dell.

I replaced a 14 year old HP tower with This Dell. The new HP model and this Dell were very close to being what I needed. The Dell CD drive is horizontal where HP is vertical. I choose the Dell. The wired mouse and keyboard that it comes with are ok. I like the convenience of wireless, so I purchased a new keyboard and mouse set.

Fast and well configured for the inexpensive price.

Perfect for my needs (home office), plenty of power. Easy for less technically inclined among us to set up. Ordered and picked up same day with curb side pick up at local Best Buy. Can’t beat that.

My old computer died of old age. Mike was able to transfer all the data to my new computer, and even placed my old drive into the new machine. Essentially he gave me a lot more storage room, without losing any data. He stuck with the job until it was totally done.

Not a big fan of Windows 10, but the computer working well.

I purchased this Dell - Inspiron Desktop - Intel Core i5 - 12GB Memory - 256GB Solid State Drive because I have had Dell products in the past. This is an awesome machine! I LOVE it. The GEEK Squad agents also did an outstanding job of set up!

Couldn’t go wrong with Dell and Intel! Had other PCs which I had to return as it had issues out of the box. This model works great no issues and would definitely recommend

The desktop is a lot faster than our last desktop which was about 8 years old. It doesn't has as much memory as our previous desk top but we had the Geek squad put in a different hard drive for additional memory and probably will never fill that.

well when she first started using it she stressed out the system ; at first their tests said it was the memory chip ; then they said it could be a software issue ; but they sent out a new memory 8g chip and seems to be working flawlessly noe

I needed a new desktop so this was my choice. So far it's great!! It's fast and has plenty of USB ports. I am using it to do my online schoolwork. It also comes with a new Dell keyboard and mouse!! Best Buy is the best place for electronics.

It's only been a couple of weeks. I didn't want another laptop. I like the solid state drive. No whirring noises! It could use a couple more USB ports. Barring any technical issues, I should be able to use it until MS stops supporting Windows 10.....
