Not as light in weight as I thought it would be. Haven't used it enough yet to give a more in depth review.

Nowadays there is such a vast variety of laptops that it's tough to know what you truly need. With this laptop though Dell has been able to pack all the key necessities into an aesthetically pleasing package. Right out of the box this laptop has a premium feel to it with the aluminum casing. One of the key things for me on this laptop is the 16 inch screen as it gives an actual full size screen rather than the more compact laptops that seem to be more mainstream. This does result in the laptop being slightly less portable, but the minimal bezels do keep the laptop as minimal as possible from a size perspective. I will also note that even though this is not a 4k screen it is extremely bright and the colors definitely pop when watching videos. With the increased screen size this allows for a full size keyboard that includes the number pad which is extremely helpful for me as I utilize spreadsheets on a daily basis. The keys have a minimal travel distance and are backlit so two more additional features here that help provide a premium experience. Looking at the usability the standout feature here is the 2-in-1 concept where the laptop can be used in both a traditional laptop style format, but also in a tablet form factor where the screen is flipped on the hinges. Tablet mode is where this laptop really stands out as the touchscreen is very responsive and worked great when I used it for taking notes and while using Photoshop. When looking at the laptop from a performance perspective it was able to handle everything I threw at it and the 1TB SSD made loading and transferring files extremely quick. As long as you aren't running graphically enhanced games you should not have any issues though I will say I did do some light gaming and it held up extremely well on those mid level graphic settings. I did not have any issues at all with it overheating and the fan noise was extremely minimal. The other positive that comes from the laptop being larger in size is the extended battery life as this thing holds up like a tank powering through an entire day of use without needing to be charged. Which I will say when it comes to charging I greatly appreciate the fact that it is simply charged through USB-C and not a proprietary charging cable. A couple minor items to mention are the ports here are perfect with the Thunderbolt port, USB-C port, USB-A port, HDMI port, and headphone jack as for most people this is gonna cover everything you need and I appreciate the clean look without all the holes on the sides of my laptops for all those odd ports that may be needed for some users in unique circumstances. Also I did not have any issues with the fingerprint sensor as it seemed to work without issue and was fairly quick to register as well. Overall, this laptop checks all the boxes for a 16 inch laptop whereas yes it may be a little larger to accommodate the larger screen, but in return you also get the full number keypad and an extremely generous battery size to allow for elongated use. The screen is bright and colors are very vivid for what you would expect at this price point. For everyday use, aside from those extreme gaming circumstances, this computer is going to stack up right there with it`s competitors so if you are looking for that full 16 inch screen size laptop I definitely would not hesitate to recommend this model.

Awful laptop. I brought it home , set it up - connected to my Wi-Fi. Everything was good for about 30 minutes - Until the laptop shut down, I tried for about 20 minutes to restart it. It would not turn on . Finally it did come on. I checked to see if any updates were necessary. Tried to figure out what was wrong. I called the support line. I was on the phone for so long. It was just ridiculous. The phone conversation ended with no answers. I packed the laptop up and returned it.

CoPilot buggy blocks access to internet for bank and email access. Doesn't recognize external wireless drives. Stalls frequently in normal use of MicroSoft Office documents requiring a restart of the MicroSoft application. As much as I dislike Macbook it would have been a besser option. This is a waste of money! Windows 11 not ready for prime time.

This has been the worst customer service I have ever received! I purchased this NEW computer on 8/21 for my new work laptop. I paid to have all my programs loaded onto it. Had IT Folks come in and try and connect it to our server so I could scan, print etc. The computer screen kept going black and then the computer would shutoff.

I chose the 2025 Dell Plus 2-in-1 16" FHD+ touch screen laptop to replace my aging Dell Inspiron. I needed a faster processor, bigger screen, more RAM and a much larger hard drive. I also needed to finally move on from Windows 10 given it's imminent demise. I am also intrigued by the developing AI hardware/software potential. I like the Dell brand and this laptop checks the boxes. The unit was packaged in recyclable materials which I appreciated and I had it unpacked and charging in minutes. Dell claims over 20 hours of battery life! Charging speed via the 65 watt included charger feels average to me. The initial setup proceeded immediately and was really flawless. However, as the unit warns you, the number of upgrades that need to be downloaded and installed was ridiculous! Even with fast Internet access the process required nearly two hours to complete! After multiple restarts (which then revealed yet MORE required downloads!) the system was finally ready for use... Physically the Plus 2-in-1 has a quality feel. The case is rigid and not too heavy. The screen is expansive. The backlit keyboard feels solid. The trackpad is HUGE but not overly sensitive so I do not experience any accidental actions from my hands' incidental contact. The specs include an Intel Core Ultra 7 Processor, 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and a 1TB PCIe SSD. The FHD+ display offers 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) resolution and the touch capability is detailed and responsive. There are also a generous number of ports offered including an HDMI 2.1 Display Connector, a USB-A 3.2 port, a USB-C 3.2 port and a Thunderbolt 4 (40 Gbps) port with DisplayPort 2.1 too! Finally, there is a headphone/microphone jack. Wireless connectivity includes both Bluetooth BE and Wi-Fi 7 which connected flawlessly to my in-home network. A couple of observations (minor downsides) for me... The unit is pretty large and a little heavy. The screen is large but is very reflective and only reaches 300 nits. Colors saturation is good but not great, The 2-in-1 feature may be convenient for some (creators???) but is awkward to actually deploy and use. Dell does NOT include a stylus which would seem to be the preferred tool. Although positioned as an AI tool for creators, the system does NOT include an NPU which is featured in many competitors' offerings. Overall the laptop has snappy performance and a quality feel. It is a solid product with a quality architecture that has checked all the boxes that I initially wanted.

Dell - Plus 2-in-1 16" FHD+ Touch Screen Laptop - Intel Core Ultra 7 Copilot+ PC with 16GB Memory - 1TB SSD The 16 Dell Plus 2 in 1 laptop/tablet is well made and solid. It has a 16” touch screen for ease of use when in tablet mode as well as laptop mode. The processor is a Core Ultra 7 256V that has only 8 cores, 4 performance and 4 low power efficient cores. It has a total of 8 threads with a max frequency of 4.8 GHz. Using the CPU built in Intel Arc graphics the display is sharp and fluid. This is not a gaming laptop, but rather a well rounded 2 in 1 for general use with long battery life. With the battery fully charged I watched 4 hours of full screen video with the volume at a normal listening level and it only used 25% of the battery life. The stereo speakers are located under the sides of the laptop with sound reflecting off the table when in laptop mode and radiating from under the display when in tablet mode. The sound is acceptable with plenty of volume. It has 16 GB of ram that is not upgradable, 1 TB NVMe SSD that is replaceable/upgradable up to a full size 2280 drive. It has a fingerprint reader for Windows log in. The ports are 1 HDMI full size, 2 USB-C/Thunderbolt 4 ports (also used for charging), 1 USB-A, and 1 headset jack. The keyboard is backlit that seems well suited for night use. It’s running Windows 11 Home 24H2 and comes with McAfee Premium but it’s only a 30 day trial. My general overall experience using this laptop was as expected for the processor and ram being used. The best use for this would be general document work, web browsing, E-Mail and other home or office tasks. It can play simple games, but it’s not really meant for that. I would say that it’s priced a little high for the specs but at this point everything is. If you’re looking for a good, easy to use, everyday laptop this fits that roll well.

New keyboard, which forsome reason Dell indented so that the space bar is lower than your hands, and you often miss it creating runon words, has half keys for up and down arrows. Very hard to get used to. Won't buyanother Dell.

I waited well over an hour to pick up my new computer. It didn't work well and seemed cluttered when I got it home. Computer is very slow. I am not a computer expert. I just wanted something that was easy to work with. Oh well maybe next time in a different universe...
