If your in the market for an affordable monitor, this Dell monitor will not disappoint. Yes, it does not have an HDMI input but that is not needed when you have the DVI input. The difference between HDMI and DVI is : HDMI transmits audio and video and DVI only transmits video. Since this monitor does not have speakers, HDMI is not needed and DVI will suffice.

Bought this to replace my 24" LG monitor that died. In a hurry, I needed a monitor that would both connect to home PC via DVI and my work laptop via VGA. A quick search on-line found it at a great price at a local store. I called my wife who was shopping nearby. She picked it up, brought it home. I plugged it into the PC via DVI, beautiful picture. Then plugged in VGA and ... how do I switch inputs? I randomly pressed under and around the bezel and an on-screen menu popped up. I puzzled over the pictographs to figure out what to do, but in a few minutes had switched inputs and reduced brightness. That was a few months ago, it's been working flawlessly since!

The 23 inch size, quality, and price of the monitor is why I purchased it. The picture seems so life like. I am using it through the DVI input on my CPU. I liked it so much I purchased a 27 inch Dell monitor.

easy set-up and great product for a reasonable price! Lighting is bright and white compared to my LG that has a light blue tint to the screen. I use it in a dual monitor setup and split screen for 2 sets of photos. Works for me!

Truly amazing picture quality at a great price. I caught this Dell on sale and I couldn't be happier. Colors look great. Wide viewing angle. Compared to a similar Samsung model and it looked too brightly backlit and washed out. On the Dell, the colors really pop. Nice warm images right out of the box!

Recently bought a new computer. And wanted to play fallout 4, was having problems with my non hd monitor picking up parts of the game. Got this monitor and boom problem solved. Beautiful picture, thin and light. Highly recommended.

Great quality but no speakers and HDMI if speakers and HDMI are included this would be too good. definitely worth the price.

This Dell monitor is easy to install, easy to look at and easy to pay for with the unbeatable price at Best Buy! I needed a second monitor for a staff member at work and having used a Dell monitor for the past few years AND seeing this amazing price, it was a no-brainer. Images are crisp and bright. Set up was a snap. This is a winner.

Upgrade to larger screen for multi screen viewing. Great color, sleek design, easy set up. Love it.

Bought 2 of these monitors. it's been a couple of months now and they both work and look great. Replaced 2 Acer 20inch models which worked well. These are as wide but taller giving noticeably more screen space for multiple applications. The display is far superior to the ones I replaced and really enjoy the thin frame around them giving an edgeless look. This is my first Dell monitor purchase and am very pleased with the quality.

Color and clarity is amazing. The size makes it much easier on my OLD eyes!

Overall, this was a great buy during Best Buy's promotion Cyber Monday in July event. Genius marketing on Best Buy's part and had many in stock. The display itself is decent in that it won't wow you with its performance. Text and graphics are clear and colors is a 4/5 stars. The drawback I observed with this display is that the anti-glare coating underneath the clear outer layer is very thick so it gives what's on-screen a bit of a darker hue. Like the colors are trying to pop out through the coating and even though most get through to your eyes, you can sense that some are held back by the coating. It doesn't distort, just gives it a dark hue. Other than that, the display is rock solid, modern, takes up little space, doesn't consume much power and has been very reliable. It's price range really makes it a solid buy and Best Buy is always 5 stars with their selection, inventory and pricing!

It looks nice and works well. The stand could be more stable and I prefer less reflective glare but in a dim room, it works for me. Compared to my old ultrasharp, it lacks usb and PIP but if you don't use those, this monitor is great for the price.

The on line description listed a VGA and DVI connection. In store the connection on the sign was VGA and HDMI. When I got it home, there was no HDMI connection. When I connected using the VGA, I was very surprised at the clarity of the picture, very nice.

First off, this monitor is absolutely gorgeous. It isn't the highest end model you can buy from Dell, but it more than fits my need. It is a beautiful 23 inch 1080p monitor and I can't wait for this monitor to go on sale again so I can buy another to make a dual monitor setup. THe only con I can think of is that this particular model doesn't have an HDMI input; but I knew that going in. The color reproduction is excellent and it is VERY bright! It's always better to be very bright, with the option to reduce brightness, than dim and you can't do much about it.
