I had been looking to add a second monitor to my work from home setup for a couple of weeks. When I saw this on sale the price was perfect for what I needed. I work in spreadsheets often and working off of a single monitor and laptop screen wasn't cutting it. I needed more space to have everything laid out so I can see it all at once. The pros are that the lines on it are clean, the picture is sharp and the price was low. It was easy to setup, with no additional software or configuration needed. The cons would be that it's not fancy. The stand doesn't adjust and you can't mount it on anything. There are no speakers or USB ports. It's got HDMI and VGA. This is for work so I won't be gaming or watching movies and that sort of thing on it. For working on documents, emails, etc, this will fit the bill nicely. If you are in need of a second monitor for work or school this should be perfectly adequate.

Easy to setup and get going. Using with a laptop that has a broken screen. Did not need a camera or speakers so this was the perfect purchase. The colors are good and the size of the monitor fits into the space. I am using a ream of paper to boost higher on the desk.

I wanted a second monitor for mixing music -- something simple, and about 20-21 inches. This happened to be discounted as a return, so I jumped on it. Turns out it is a couple of millimeters off horizontal, which is probably why it was returned previously. But for a little over 80 bucks, I can put up with it. I assume other monitors like this are not crooked at all. Anyway, I connect it to my laptop with a monitor-usb cable and my graphics card lets me choose how to set it up. I think I got a good deal.

I work from home most days and needed a monitor similar in size to my Dell monitors at the office. In 2 minutes from opening the box, I was done. You cannot adjust the height or pivot it, so bear in mind it is a simple mounting (I was already using monitor risers anyway). The power button can be a bit hard to find at first, but not bad. Those qualities aside, the picture and resolution has been great for working from a home office, especially if I’d like to quickly and easily change rooms where I prefer to work from.

Monitor was very easy to set up. I just transferred lines from old computer/ monitor set up. I just didn’t realize that this monitor. Did not have speakers. Thought I didn’t set it up right. Went through online set up etc - could not find anywhere that you have to have external speakers. Wasted about 1+1/2 hrs until I realized problem was that I had to purchase speakers. My old monitor was equipped with internal speakers.

I bought the monitor for my son, for his online classes, because a 13" laptop was not enough for so many hours. Now he studies comfortably, he has greater productivity in his homework, everything looks much better, with a lot of quality. He is very happy.

Great monitor for the price. Vibrant colors. Easy to operate. HDMI drive make it a nice dual monitor.

Dell is a recognized name, so I went with this monitor due to price, mainly. However, its clarity and ease of adjustment are quite impressive. I've not experienced any flickering, fuzziness, or blackouts...bonus! For the cost, this monitor holds up to the competition.

This is a great monitor at a super price. Easy to hook up, gives me good colors and contrast. Was worried at first about the reviews that mentioned glare, but where it is situated in my office, I have no problems with that at all.

Great product and good value for your money. I bought 2 so I could use them for double screens when working from home. At first it's confusing to hook up but just make sure you buy the correct port. They work great, the screen is large and clear with great resolution.

I admire the screen size of the monitor since it is bigger than the lap top screen but not too big to take over your desk while working. Great color and detail on the screen and was easy to assemble and connect to the lap top computer.

I bought for a two screen work setup for my laptop at home. For work, these screens do well. I am not a gamer and cannot comment on the use as such. The sleep mode and waking them back up is a pain. Probably saves the screens but Dell needs to come up with a way they wake up with just moving the mouse. These are not touch screens. I also imagine they would glare with direct light shining on them.

We are pleased with the new Dell Monitor that we purchased. The larger screen takes a little getting used to since the screen on our previous Monitor was only 18”. My only issue is that the shows a message showing different languages with English being first. I would like to delete this but do not find anything that would allow me to do this. Could someone provide me with an explanation.

The display is excellent for playing games and watching movies. The monitor doesn’t come with speakers, but that’s fine because I have my headphones anyway. The price was a fair deal too. Overall I’m happy with this purchase.

I honestly couldn't believe that this monitor was as inexpensive as it was priced. I truly thought it was priced wrong and after getting it and using it I still think that I got away with a steal! It has a great picture and it is good looking as well!

The monitors are almost perfect. Reason for the 4 stars is because I bought 2 of the same monitors to use side by side and I noticed they have completely different brightness levels under the same settings. If you buy 1 monitor, I'm sure this would not be a problem. Buying two, you may have this issue. Overall, I use these for gaming and working from home. Good product, but could be great.

I couldn't be more pleased! I have a MacBook and missed the big monitor of my old iMac terribly. When speaking to my cousin, he warned me that I wouldn't be able to find a monitor with a picture as good as an Apple monitor, but boy does this picture look good to me. Granted, I'm sure he's right, and to a more trained eye they'll be able to tell the difference, but for me, the picture is great! It's a nice size, works like a charm, and it looks good too. Unbelievable value. I could not be happier! Well, maybe if it had a few nice built-in features like speakers, webcam, extra ports, but again, for the price it would be unreasonable to expect any of those. If you're looking for a really good monitor, you can't get a better value than this!

Overall this a nice monitor although I do have one complaint. First, the positives. The IPS display is excellent and the color rendering is very good as well. The monitor was easy to set up and looks nice to boot. The only negative is that the screen can give off quite a glare and I frequently have to adjust the lighting to minimize the effect. Still, it is good overall and I would recommend.
